This is the villain for the third MCU Spider-Man movie.
Say something nice about him.

You know the sad thing is that a movie is about the only thing that's going to do Gargan any good these days.

Cool design, but doesn't fit the realistic approach of the MCU.

Source?

Definitely. Which is a shame since Scorpion has all the potential to be one of Spider-Man's greatest enemies.
>Scorpions are the natural predator of spiders
>Gargon despises Jameson, who repeatedly makes Spider-Man look bad, which could lead to a good dynamic.
>Neither were properly prepared for the powers they were given (Peter had just gotten the responsibility)
>Both were seen as a spectacle (Peter being a TV star, Gargon as an "Anti-Spider-Man")
There's just so much potential for Scorpion to be one of Peter's best rogues, but he's always shoved to the side as a henchman villain.

Huh, I really like this design. Not sure about that stinger though, it would be good for the spraying but bad for anything but a thrusting attack. I liked the version with the forward sprayer and the downward blade.

>OH HO HO HO HO! Manhattan will explode in 5 minutes!

Really hope they don't fuck him up. The sole consolation is that he can't be any more of a loser than comics Gargan is. Casting Michael Mando is a good start, but they haven't got much to build on other than the Ultimate version of a Hispanic gangbanger who really fucking hates Spider-Man. The one thing MCU Spider-Man has been really good at so far is building up a deep personal connection between Spidey and his villains, I hope they continue that trend here but I'm struggling to think of ways how they could. Maybe have JJJ give him powers to create his own Spider-Man, unaware he has his own plans and agenda from the start?

Ok this is seriously starting to bug me as I hear it again and again. Scorpions are NOT the "natural" predator of spiders. They do eat spiders, but spiders can eat scorpions right back. Its not some antithesis or nemesis relationship as they try to use to build this character. Scorpions are generalist predators that eat ANYTHING they can beat in a fight. This whole Scorpion>Spider idea is dumb.

What are this powers? Is it just a suit?

It's gonna be him and Vulture and Mysterio and Shocker and another 2

It varies. Every few years they give him a new power boost to make him more of a threat but it never takes. He went through a series of radioactive and chemical treatment to give him powers similar to Spidey, the suit was just to boost him up.

From his origin he's been stronger and more durable than Spidey, and occasionally as fast. He's got a cyberntic tail attuned to his brainwaves that is to all intents and purposes a fifth limb, like one of Doc Ock's tentacles. That's all the suit, depending on the design he has a prehensile spike attached to it as a stinger that is usually poisonous, and sometimes a part at the tip that can shoot out acid.

I think he's always been able to adhere to surfaces like Spidey with bio-magentism, but he's never been as creative with it as Peter has. The suit itself has been upgraded to boost his strength and durability but the downside was for decades like the Rhino that he was sealed into the thing, he couldn't take it off. When he did lose it and was bonded to Venom for a while it turned out he needs something like the suit to stay alive or he'll die. Slott gave him a Spider Sense knock-off courtesy of Alistair Smythe but I don't know if that's still in effect.

So to TL;DR, he's a bigger stronger Spidey with a mechanical tail, no webs and a borderline retarded IQ.

Ok yeah, that’s probably the best design Scorpion has ever had.
Maybe we can add the “Acid Shooters” from the Ultimate version for extra parallels.

The other part of his problem was that he was totally circumvented by Venom as Spidey’s main “evil arachnid” when the latter showed up.
Then he became Venom’s punching bag. So Gargan ends up being all Bark and no Bite.

One advantage of the MCU if he does show up is that he would have an almost blank slate to draw upon.
They managed to get a decent Vulture, so maybe they can work their magic too.

Vulture had almost nothing in common with his comics counterpart other than old dude screwed over by corporate suits who uses flying tech to make himself rich, and he ended up one of the best MCU villains. It's in the realm of possibility if they get creative with Gargan.

That’s what I’m saying.
They added a nice twist with the love interest and played Vulture smart.

Hopefully they can do it again.

Boo
I want my silly natural enemy archetype

Wasn't he a detective?

Why did they fuck him over Yea Forums?

He isn't related to Stark, that's the only nice thing I can say about him.

>He isn't related to Stark
inb4 the tip of his tail is stolen stark nanotech allowing him to switch between a stinger/laser/acid shooter/sonic blast

How do you think his movie redesign will look, because if it's anything like vulture it's gonna be awesome
