Not even senpai, only pink hair link was in Alttp IIRC and even then the official art depicts him with brown hair. I seem to recall somebody at Nintendo mentioning in an interview Link had pink hair in-game to make him stand out better.

I’ve lost the DA Journal where he goes into this but IIRC according to him, copying anime ruined his art style and he tried his hardest to unlearn the anime but couldn’t and that’s why Disney never hired him. All because of the evils of anime
