IMO, Nickelodeon is lagging behind Cartoon Network and Disney Channel in terms of quality content. While CN and DC have upcoming shows that look promising like Mao Mao, Infinity Train, and Owl House, Nickelodeon is making Spongebob and Loud House spinoffs.

Actually, Nick has been lagging behind the other 2 this whole decade. CN has Adventure Time, Regular Show, Steven Universe, and Gumball. DC has Star vs, Gravity Falls, and the new Ducktales. What does Nick have to offer besides The Loud House? Fanboy and Chum Chum, Sanjay and Craig, Breadwinners, and the corpse of Spongebob.

Why has Nick lagged behind?

They had Harvey Beaks and fucked it to the ground for not pulling Spongebob ratings.

They put all their money in the Dan "hey kid get in my van" Schneider basket instead since shitty live action kid sitcoms are easier, and possibly cheaper, to make.

so no mention of paw patrol, rise of the tmnt, tmnt 2012, abby hatcher, alvin and the chipmunks, Blues Clues & you, too name a few even recent one's?

>recent one's

That is not how plurals work in English.

also Regular Show ended production in early 2017, Adventure Time ended production in late 2017, The Amazing World of Gumball ended production in early 2019, Uncle Grandpa ended production in mid-2016, Gravity Falls ended production in late 2015, and Star vs. the Forces of Evil ended production in early 2019

> Nickelodeon is lagging behind

It's been dead for 20 years, like decent cartoons in general.

Nick decided Cartoon Network grabbed the younger 7-11 crowd so they focused on slightly older kids with their more direct rival Disney channel for the 11-14 teens with the live sitcom style shows.

They were already courting that demographic in the early 00s with their Klasky Csupo tween shows like All Grown Up and As Told by Ginger. But live shows are cheaper to produce and insanely faster.

CN Real only happened for about 8 months in 2007. People still bitch and moan about that daily around here and complain as if it is still on tv right now.

I wan tot say around 06-ish when things were really transitioning to Spongebob all the time.

Why did you post this exact post on Derpibooru?

Cartoon Network has been shit since 2003.

Nickelodeon has been shit since 1994.

The Disney Channel has been shit since it changed its name to "Disney Channel".

That’s some contrarian bullshit opinions right there. Go back to the retirement home, boomer.
