I am
yes
It's one of the few decent Disney sequels so yeah, go ahead. It you want something completely wacky I recommend the Cinderella sequels.
>starring Robin Williams
It's pretty good considering it's a THIRD direct to video disney sequel
ties up the series quite well and although it's much more rudimentary in animation, they still do pretty nicely
It's way better than Return of Jafar, and not just because Williams came back.
Williams didn't come back to voice Genie in the previous OVA or the TV series, so him returning was actually a big deal.
Anyway, fun movie. Practically wore out the tape as a kid.
>Aladdin's dad was the King of Thieves
>making him a prince
was this a result of his wish?
Yes.
No I'm pretty sure he won that title (possibly from Ali Baba).
It's also worth remembering that Williams had a pretty big public feud with Disney at the time, so him coming back wasn't just "he missed the last one, but we got him back" it was "our new CEO made peace with Williams after our previous one pissed him the fuck off and it became this huge public shitfest, but we're cool now"
And then immediately after that they proceeded to be not-cool again.
It's a forced and unnecessary sequel. A shameless cash grab.
Yes
Yes it is, so are you in or out?

So far I'm 15 minutes in, and it manages to be cheesier than the second. Starting to have regrets.
It was the series' finale. How is that any more unnecessary than the show itself?

As far as b-list Disney songs go, this one was actually pretty good.
Williams was dumb as fuck about this. "I'll work with Disney, but I don't want them to use me to profit from it!"
You're asking me? The answer is No. Lacklustre story and animation.
>play a character built around your celebrity
>hurr don't market the Genie!
Not to speak ill of the dead but I think Disney was in the right here, not marketing your key character is retarded and only an asshole would request that.
Best non-theatrical Disney sequel, hands down.
He worked for them for scale based on those conditions. It's only natural for him to have been a little peeved about how his role and character was then leveraged as the movie's main selling point.
Yeah, I hear they are finally getting married.
It'll pick up a bit when Aladdin follows the Oracle
Yes, but only if you view it as the series finale for the show.
I was kind of impressed with the animation for the budget they had. I guess once they got Robin Williams they decided to step up, heck Genie isn't cyan anymore
Yes
With how butthurt Disney was acting over his involvement with Ferngully, it's still pretty easy to side with Williams on this one.
