Goddammit, it's time some of these characters got their due. Post characters you like, but seldom used outside of cameos/joke appearances. Furthermore, post things you would do with them, be it story related, costume change, whatever.
I'll start things off with Doctor Polaris. Magneto hogs all the spotlight just because he went through the Holocaust
Doesn't he have a female split personality that dresses like a 1920's femme fatale because brain magnets or something?
I remember reading that story. He fought Superman in it.
Brandon Wright
I have never heard of this but now genuinely curious. Doctor Polaris being bi-polar would make sense too.
Jaxson Morgan
The Basilisk is a pretty cool guy. He has a pretty strong power set, it's kind of crazy to me that his only roles in recent years have been "capture the Punisher," and "get teamed up with Looter".
See the problem with Great White Shark is that he's (no pun intended) a small fish in a big pond. When you have Black Mask and The Penguin basically running most of Gotham's criminal underworld there's not much to go around. Him working with Tiger Shark would be fun. Which speaking of, fuck you, I like the pic related look far more than that bandanna/suit look he's been sporting as of late He honestly should. I don't know who thought it was a good idea to have Venom beat Shocker like he was nothing.
Yeah, but when he's a chick they drop the "doctor" part because women can't be doctors
Owen Campbell
His original origin was that he was a Jekyll and Hyde type. Normally a benevolent scientist who wanted to improve quality of life with MAGNETS, but used an invention that unleashes an evil personality who wants to rule the world. He also originally was a pure science villain with no powers of his own, and only became a Magneto clone later on. Don't thin his alternate personality is female tho, at least that I saw.
ollie has a literal whole rogue's gallery of forgotten villains from his first 3 decades of publication
Yes he was one of the most frequently appearing Superman villains of the 40s. It was basically Luthor, Prankster and Wolfingham in the top, with Toyman and Mxyztplk behind them-
Two of them currently work for the Wasps, but they give the impression that they're terrible at their jobs.
Cameron Sanchez
Controlling people's emotions with his magic mask.
Ayden Morris
Right but it's also a form of vampirism correct? Is it like one of those powers that sounds weak but actually really OP? Because I could see making a hero manic depressive or blinded with rage against an ally could be useful
Blake Carter
It's a really op ability because it affects normal humans and superman tier characters on the same way. Plus his range varies considerably, when he was the Anti Monitor's herald he could manipulate the emotions of all the people in 3 different earths
Jaxon Martin
Really? Got any pages you could post? That sounds amusing
Didn't he die? I remember something in Deadpool where we was one of a number of clones made of dead characters and there was a bit where he had grenades shoved into his eyes.
Cooper Miller
That clone was made before the original got resurrected.
Basically >Scourge of the Underworld murdered original Basilisk >Arnim Zola cloned Basilisk >Deadpool murdered clone >The Hand resurrected original Basilisk >Original Basilisk is still running around somewhere, last seen (afaik) teaming up with Looter and getting beat up by Superior Spider-Man
Carson Ortiz
Shit, I meant "The Hood" not "the Hand"
James Foster
N'Kantu the Living Mummy. One of the not-undead horror/supernatural characters Marvel made. When he does show up its often as magical egyptian mummy, when that's not what he was at all. Noble Warrior-King of his people, he led a revolt against those that would enslave his them, but was captured. Made immortal and paralyzed he was entombed for thousands of years before breaking free in the modern day. And went right on being a stand up guy who was also a Mummy. Sort of an ancient african Captain America with an image problem.
I'd like him to interact with Black Panther, king to king, maybe call Wakandans on their historical jerkiness.
Between Polaris, Magneto, and Magenta I think as evidence, I've thought that magnetism powers seem to induce mental instability somehow. Don't know if there's anything actually to that, but just appeared to be anyway.
Justin Perry
I'm not even sure if this guy was intended to be a super-villain but he's infamous for being really lame.
Originally Magenta's mental instability was her being possessed by Polaris who was trapped in another dimension. Then later on they just decided she was craycray
Christian Powell
I recognize Swarm, the Squid, Killer Shrike (of course), and I think... Trapster?
Nathaniel Barnes
>TRapster
Close...Melter
The others are 8-Ball and Delilah
Hunter Adams
Melter? Really? Somehow I liked some of his older looks better than that.
Austin Baker
Lame!? He's an economic mastermind. His masterful manipulations robbed Canada of its entire penny supply. They were forced to eliminate the penny completely and round everything up or down. Who knows what other nations he has or will terrorize. Maybe the USA will be next, only the Penny Plunderer knows. He has one mission, to claim all the pennies in the world and no one can stop him.
Jose Baker
It's probably just the artist, the costume itself sn't a bad one.
>conned his way into an eternity of torturing demons in hell instead of being tortured >can LITERALLY do whatever he wants with no fear of eternal consequences he's based
Before Sideways was DC's answer to Spider-Man, there was another attempt at a young up-and-coming hero. I really liked his character arc when it was running through the Superman comics back in the late 90s.
>Delilah I like Delilah, she had weird gimmick when she talked where certain words would be in different fonts and colors in her earlier appearances. Though I wish that they wouldn't change her design every time she pops up.
