Wimpy. Popeye's so-called friend who will side with any villain if there's money or food involved.
I'm OK with characters like Penny who aren't treated like the MC's best friend, they're just a buddy that the MC can hang out with sometimes.
Like Wimpy, she's a truly neutral character who will go with the flow. Honestly I like that better than so many shows where the antagonist is openly hated by everyone, including the "neutral" characters, to the point that they should be a complete social pariah.
