Horrorverse Thread?
Adam Sullivan
Jason Flores
You guys know you got the Banana Splits now, right? That and RoboChucky
Jordan Clark
I'm a bit new to this whole "Horrorverse" thing, is this something Yea Forums made up? Is it some sort of amalgam horror universe? If so, do champions/heroes exist in it, or is it just a bunch of movie ghosts and demons going all WWE on each other?
Adam Russell
So let me see if I got this right. They went from making action figures in the old Kenner style, and it's now old hat so the new thing is making them in the He-man style? What happens after that's played out?
Dominic Reyes
>You guys know you got the Banana Splits now, right?
I still don't know what the thought process was for making that. Other than trying to bandwagon on the popularity of FNAF. Assuming nothing drastically changes the world, I think that's Horrorverse Prime's Banana Splits. Light-Hearted world would have the regular versions of the characters.
Brayden Hernandez
Super7 is still doing them in the old Kenner style. Funko just started doing characters in the He-Man style.
>What happens after that's played out?
Hopefully, they go to 90's Playmates TMNT style next.
David King
>the new thing is making them in the He-man style?
It's fun
Leo Jackson
Yeah pretty much anything that’s horrror, a couple of heroes like Ghost Rider and Etrigan
Adam Anderson
If there aren't that many heroes from these various settings to fight said bad guys, wouldn't humanity just go extinct?
Cameron Reed
A lot of the threats sort of cancel eachother out, so humanity is doing just well enough. Though there are way more serial killers. Think there’s the SCP organization too, BRPD, MIB
Ian Torres
eh I think most of these guys take out way less humans than cancer or aids or high cholesterol every year.
Henry Sanders
>I still don't know what the thought process was for making that.
As I understand it, this is how it went:
>FNAF creator makes a deal with WB for a FNAF movie
>pre-production is already in progress, script being written, etc.
>something happens and the deal falls through, FNAF creator takes his ball and decides to take the property elsewhere
>WB decides to salvage the work already done and retool it by using an existing property they own, partly out of spite in order to beat a potential FNAF movie from a rival studio to the punch
Jaxon Fisher
Sounds like a mess. Probably will still watch it
Jackson Kelly
There are champions/heroes. Since Hack/Slash is part of this Horrorverse that brought in the non-powered superheroes introduced in a storyarc, so that brings in the opportunity for other costumed non-powered adventurers. There's also the protagonists of various horror films like Ash, and like said there's also heroes of the supernatural variety like Ghost Rider, Etrigan, Man-Thing, Swamp Thing, Hellboy, etc but they're considered urban legends by the general public. There was also the idea that the Horrorverse Batman would mean bringing in Doom That Came to Gotham and the Vampire Trilogy as happening to two different people who became Batman.
The general rule is that in the Horrorverse that there's no Avengers, X-Men, Justice League, Teen Titans, etc. There might be team-ups and there might be smaller teams like the Creature Commandos or something like that, but nothing Avengers/Justice League like where it's a publicly known superpowered superhero team who have meetings and fight big menaces in a flashy way on a daily basis.
There's a possibility that some superpowered non-horror superheroes exist, but they're very rare and not known to the world. We haven't gotten into that yet.
Dominic Thompson
>Ash
Don't forget Pablo, the El Brujo Especial
Adrian Gonzalez
We are never getting a sequel are we?
Mason Brooks
>Don't forget Pablo, the El Brujo Especial
I'm pretty sure the world forgot about him, and everything in the show that wasn't Ash might as well be noncanon
Aaron King
If they do a sequel, I'd like the original Sam actor to have a cameo. He's got to be 17 or something by now.
Nolan Turner
Why?
Ayden Robinson
Well hopefully the video game proves me wrong
Michael King
Like seriously, the show is a continuation of the movies and references them several times. I'd say it should be more canon than any of the comics.
Parker Harris
Video game?
Adrian Nguyen
This is a stupid question that popped into my head the other day and I wanted to ask it somewhere because of the absurdity of it.
Who would win between pic related?
Connor Baker
not Yea Forums-related
Carson Foster
Oh DK totally
It kinda is
Christian Nelson
Heavily depends on the Jason. Anything that has some of his more bullshit fests (like that time he went to space) can possibly hold their own. Anything less gets crushed.
Benjamin Foster
How come Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru don't have name cards like the other 5? I see them to the left of Pinhead and right of Michael.
Connor Collins
>tfw when a madlad Aussie is one of the most dangerous things in the entire Horrorverse
Dominic Brooks
Yeah Bruce Campbell has come out and publicly and said they're doing a video game. Partly why Ash won't be a mortal Kombat character. A cameo maybe, but not playable character.
Hudson Carter
At least he got into DBD.
Parker Lewis
You're discussing a horror crossover without any Yea Forums-material. Even if you included comic adaptions and the like the primary discussion isn't the Yea Forums-related material.
Kevin Walker
Fine, we’ll add Brightburn
Dylan Ortiz
The primary discussion still isn't Yea Forums, you're just looking for an excuse to talk about your favorite horror movies on Yea Forums with a retarded "shared universe" concept.
Anthony Gomez
Nigger what? A ton of things in the Horrorverse have Yea Forums adaptations. Get over yourself.
If you want something to sperg at, go do it at that Wuxia thread.
Jackson Lee
I got really amped at the idea of Bright burn wonderful and aqualad. But I still want the alt ending where the girl is given the robot arm
Josiah Martin
...
Leo Cruz
Sure is a lot of discussion about those comic adaptions, huh?
James Walker
>a series of threads regarding discussion from characters of various types of horror media in a single universe and what would happen
>every thread gets this response:
>"NOT Yea Forums NOT Yea Forums, REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"
I fucking hate this entire website
Sebastian Bell
Hack/Slash, Evil Dead, Friday the 13th, etc.
Fuck off. You are the exact same cancer killing this site.
William Scott
Ever since we allowed places like Yea Forums, Yea Forums and /pol/ to leak into literally every other board, they've been steadily trying to kill every single interesting form of discussion and turn thus place into a literal hell where nobody can do anything at risk of it being badwrongfun.
It's fucking awful what it is, but that's how things work sometimes.
Noah Myers
We do have alternate earths for media where things get too catastrophic (nukes, world-wide zombie outbreaks).
Also, a good chunk of major monsters tend to stick to one setting, so they wouldn't be TOO noticed by the public outside of their stomping grounds.
Robert Perez
And basically every organization will ensure that some of the big kaiju aren't seen outside of say, Japan or the like.
Jackson Brooks
It's the same person complaining, You should know that by now.
Juan Ramirez
Doesn't change the fact that it's irritating and someone will do it in every thread like this.
Camden Cox
A video in tribute to the monsters of Trevor Henderson's setting has been made.
slimyswampghost.tumblr.com
Connor Hill
Eh, just ignore it. Knowing faggots like this, he'll push his luck and eat three days or more for his trouble.
Elijah Bennett
Any other Ruins ideas? We got up to the end of the 50s last time.
>In 1951, with the world shuddering at every new report of developments between America and Russia, it seems nothing will stop humanity from wiping itself out, However, a Day comes when all technology ceases to work. A man calling himself 'Klaatu' takes credit, saying he has come from space to issue a warning...He is then killed by a lynch mob who take his claim seriously. Power eventually returns, simply the result of a worldwide blackout. The Cold War resumes.
>In 1958 Dr. Andre DeLambe of Ottawa invents a teleporter, which will break down matter into atoms and transport it, as electricity, to another telepod where it will reassemble itself. He gets in the teleporter with a fly one day and...he does indeed succeed at transporting an electrical current into telepod B, sadly at the cost of electrocuting himself and the fly. Seth Brundle of the Bartok institute attempts the same experiment decades later in 1986 and takes precautions, they do indeed work and he lives...in horrible, burnt, pus-spewing, crippled agony, prompting his girlfriend to shoot him as a mercy kill.
>Teenagers Tony Rivers (who believes himself to be a werewolf), Nancy Perkins (who believes herself to be vampire) and an unidentified youth who was disfigured in a car crash and nicknamed "Frankenstein" go on killing sprees...eminent psychiatrist Dr. Fredric Wertham blames it on comic books.
>Young hydrocephalic Jason Voorhees wanders into the water at Camp Crystal Lake, NJ while the counselors are busy having sex. However, he washes ashore and...is found by his mother, who sues the hell out of manager Steve Christy and writes an award-winning autobiography that is made into an Oscar-winning film starring Betsy Palmer and Ron Howard. However, local old-timer Ralph still claims Jason really drowned, and warns everyone to beware the area's death curse, although local trucker Enos tells everyone to ignore Ralph when he's been drinking.
Juan Flores
Horrorfags, help me out here.
I once caught a movie about a town in Halloween that followed several different stories throughout the day.
The one I remember the best was a guy who was married to a witch, who had the instinct to eat kids, and he was terrified of her attempts, so would try to stop her constantly. I recall it didn't go well for the guy at the end, but up until that it was pretty cute.
There was also another story about possessed pumpkins or something and another one about 2 guys kidnapping a kid in costume that ends up being some sort of demon that never leaves you alone for the rest of your life.
Ayden Wood
>The town of Derry is plagued with the disappearances of its children, and descriptions of a "demonic clown." In truth, a notorious serial killer claiming an identity of 'Pennywise the Dancing Clown' has been going around taking kids, and is later found and shot dead

Go cry somewhere else, there's plenty of threads about comics.
Logan Ward
>Hack/Slash
like one mention here, it's the only Yea Forums relevant material and it's barely discussed
>Evil Dead
only discussion I see here is about the movies
>Friday the 13th
still just the movie
Jacob Perry
Comics are in just because of the crossovers, but I think for this you can pick and choose how much of the comics and the Ash vs Evil Dead show happened.
Oliver Anderson
>who cares if I'm discussing off topic stuff, you have the rest of the board!
Gabriel Howard
Fuck off.
Kayden Richardson

Kevin Sullivan
Definitely. There's little way to stop the little shit beyond reverse engineering his ship.
Robert Collins
Jeez, I know they used the same body mold but seeing Krueger and Pinhead all jacked ain't right.
Justin Collins
Also, because of the horror Aquaman and Wonder Woman. God, did Brightburn do well enough to merit those movies?
Anthony Evans
It made a decent amount. May or may not be enough.
Nicholas Clark
Not the first time Krueger was jacked, remember Super Freddy from one of the NOES?
Carter Russell

What.

Faster than a bastard maniac...

It’s SUPER FREDDY!
Adam Campbell
William Afton is too mad lad for anyone to handle. Freddy refuses to even creep into his dreams, The Ancestor considers him a master of the true arts like him but too incomprehensible to put his works to good use, Jason and Sadako want to fucking annihilate him, The Entity can't even get him inside it's Forest, he's found, solved, and disassembled 50 fucking lament configurations, Kramer tried to punish him for his crimes but he can't even get a good hold of the Australian bastard before he finds one small piece that gets him out of everything that could've killed him, Death from Final Destination is eternally pissed off at the motherfucker, etc.
John Thomas
Cursed image.
Julian Cooper
So where does someone like Doctor Doom fit in all this?
Jonathan Sanders
>William gets into a tussle with Doomguy at one point
>Both live but are so heavily injured by their day long brawl it takes them both weeks to recover
David Cook

>Sam and Dean Winchester once encountered him. They never speak of what horrors they were subjected to. Ever
>Slick Willy is the one man that the Yautja will not go on a hunt for. He's far too dangerous
Leo Perez
>The Foundation tried containing him at one point
>He broke himself out, somehow put an image of 096 on 173's face, then ran like fucking hell while playing Oingo Boingo music
Anthony Wood
>173 was perfectly fine with him doing this. Occasionally, it somehow breaches containment to go out on the town with Willy. Everyone gets out of the fucking way whenever this happens
Cameron Reyes
>William finds out about the Dark Powers
>Specifically dedicates his free time to fucking them over as much as possible just because he doesn't want some cosmic horrors ending his fun

Easton Parker
>Will somehow found a Silent One, and no matter how many times it tore him apart, he just kept coming back to annoy it
>Eventually, it just floated off somewhere and left him to shout at it incessantly
Wouldnt say that, but his exploits are indeed hilarious.
Christopher Bailey
>William was the Chaos Undivided champion of the third millennium
>Abaddon is actually weaker than him and William always denied daemon princehood ascension because it'd make him weaker
Luke Anderson
Abaddon is weaker than EVERYONE. Like, he's an embarrassment of evil champions everywhere.
When villains in the Horrorverse meet up to discuss their exploits every once and a while, Abaddon is brought up only as the butt of jokes and an example of what NOT to do for the newbies.
Jose Lee
>implying that abaddon even exists yet
It's only the third Millennium. Give him 38 millennia for everyone to shit on him in the afterlife except for a still alive william who was somehow the founder of admech
admech praying to the omnissiah is just them praying to slick willy
Matthew Gonzalez
Can't stop the Lavender Lad.
Gabriel Rodriguez
Is there like a chart that organizes all of this?
Luis Fisher
There was like a map of some sort waaaaay back in some of the first threads, but it was fairly basic.
Noah Gomez
Jason Powell
I don't think he exists in Horrorverse Prime, mainly because his horror connection isn't strong enough. He is on the Marvel Zombies Earth though, which Horrorverse Prime Ash will go to (like in the Marvel Zombies vs Army of Darkness crossover).
An idea that I think came up in one of the threads is that the Marvel Zombies Earth in the Horror Multiverse has a different history than the one in the comics, because there's no Ultimate Marvel Earth for the Zombie Fantastic Four to go to. They probably travel to some other Horror Earth, maybe one that has defense mechanisms against zombies, or something.
Brody Williams
It's more like a combination of everyone in William's universe being completely fucking retarded and William having absolutely zero inhibitions. The dude has five kills, all of which were before he even became a slasher villain.
Brayden Kelly
>only five kills
>he doesn't know
after help wanted william's become the fucking agent smith of his universe, his kill count could may as well be in the millions now
Jose Flores
You are shit
Hudson Rogers
Okay, six with the dog.
He's good at making robots, but he really needs to kill some people in the movie.
Dominic Morales
What did y'all think of Dollman vs Full Moon? Is it worth buying?
Ian Diaz
I'll say this though, since there are a lot of non-horror related non-powered superheroes, there is a possibility of some non-horror superpowered superheroes, but they'd have to be urban legend like. I wouldn't rule out Doom being included but you'd have to give a good explanation for him being there since I don't think the Fantastic Four should exist in Horrorverse Prime.
Ayden Williams
When Young Freddy Krueger says the magic word SLASH! he becomes Super Freddy
Joseph Parker
And all because Fazbear Entertainment wanted to pull a coverup.
Noah Jenkins
I want a cartoon where the main character enters the world of a horror icon but instead of the STALE slasher mascots, they come across the good shit
>enters The Thing
>enters Body Snatchers
>enters a Nosferatu
>enters the ghosts from Carnival of Souls
>enters Hausu
>enters Dr. Phibes
>enters Tarman zombie
>enters the witch from Suspiria
>enters Salem's Lot
>enters Ash Williams
>enters The Fly
>enters the Ghoulies
>enters Herbert West
>enters Silent Hill
There's so much potential for comedy and scares in terms of setting, character interaction and visual eye candy, but it's disappointing to see it constantly wasted on the same 5 or so characters who wear a mask and gut down sexual teens either at a camp or a suburban neighborhood. Variety is good.
Noah Martinez
congratulations fag, just because someone killed less people doesn't mean they aren't more feared
why do you think people use hitler more than mao?
Kevin Cruz
Somewhat related to this, in Ready Player One they revisit The Shining. Say what you will about the movie, but I thought a different take on that story was pretty awesome.
Leo Foster
>say what you will about the movie
Are we talking about Ready Player One? I know it had a pretty mixed reaction. I ask because it's universally agreed upon The Shining is a great movie and I never heard a bad thing about it until Stephen King and the occasional virgin from Yea Forums. King has horrendous taste when it comes to horror films by the way which is ironic.
Christian Williams
A lot of people didn't bother trying to be creative with horror until quite recently. They only ever knew the common tropes of guys in masks and suits and the occasional rubber-suit monster killing a couple kids.
Now we're getting to see people use the genre to good effect here and there, but I'm still betting on it being years before we see shit like you describe.
Lincoln Hernandez
Yeah, I was referring to RPO, sorry for the confusion. The Shining is brilliant.
Honestly, I enjoyed Ready Player One. It wasn't nearly as bad as it was made out to be. A fun summer flick.
Chase Lee
Never knew The Shining was referenced so i might actually watch it now
Elijah Long
Afton's funny, but he's not scary.
Unless he gets drunk.
Eli Walker
King's Danse Macabre is entertaining just to see his POV and a few lesser-known gems he likes, but in terms of overall taste, well, only Walter Kendrick's Thrill of Fear beats it for how stupid he makes himself sound.
Owen Taylor
Although it kinda fails thanks to some indecisive parodies, Waxwork 2: Lost in Time tried to be exactly that. The director even said he wanted it to feel like a Saturday morning cartoon.
We can dream though.
Matthew Taylor

You can never have too much demon-slaying.
Nathan Scott
>horrorverse thread
>it's mostly Yea Forums and Yea Forums
Why is this on Yea Forums again?
Lucas Kelly
Why are you still posting again?
Logan Mitchell
Well, horror storytimes are still welcome. It's just that things like Godzilla and FNAF are getting a lot attention recently. But we've got everyone here. Slasher fans, kaiju fans, Yea Forums horror readers, fans of classic Universal & Hammer, Wold Newton geeks, gamers, and comics fans. No one's objecting if you want to start a topic in here about EC Comics or Halloween: Nightdance or something.
And if we started these in Yea Forums it would be Sneeded to death.
Christopher Hernandez
>Sam
I wish this meme would die. Trick r' Treat like most horror anthologies suck ass and you're lucky to get one halfway decent segment. The shit at the beginning, the werewolves, and the one with the "oh so cooky" dad digging in the backyard looking like a Herbert West wannabe were atrocious and left such a sour taste in my mouth. It's amazing how people pretend to like it while looking past the blatant bad writing and inconsistencies. You could also argue F13 is a bad movie but it's easier to look past it for being a lowbrow fun slasher flick but Trick r' Treat is awful and has so many moments that are just not entertaining, at least to me. Even the characters are forgettable and I don't think anyone here could name a single one.
Lucas Russell
I care about Trick r' Treat for Sam fucking people up. I couldn't give a fuck about the kids and adults he massacres.
Justin Barnes
Kind of a mess art-wise.
John Adams
>Freddy so irritated

Jason Lopez

Nolan Cook
>that short where he plays catch with the lonely guy on Father’s Day
Xavier Foster
Bruce was lying about MK.
Christian Barnes
I like how Sam isn't actually evil. He's just very determined to ensure that people don't start canning Halloween as a tradition, or even worse, start actively shitting on it. He's nice and pleasant so long as you keep to the spirit of the holiday, and he's even nice outside of Halloween.
Andrew Bennett
Aiden Lee
Lucas Phillips
So how does this guy work, does he just show up in your backyard and just never shuts up?
John Lopez
Siren Head essentially uses its appearance as a really clever disguise in order to stalk and hunt its victims. The noises it makes help with masking the inevitable screaming of the poor souls it hunts down.
Anthony Morris
I honestly don't know why. Horror anthologies are pretty prevalent and there is definitely a demand for it in the horror community. The director even wants to do another one.
Hudson Powell
Fuck that noise. I'd be 100% for them continuing the series with Pablo, Kelly, and Ash's daughter if Bruce is adamant on not returning. Maybe even throw Mia in there to tie in the reboot.
Anthony Collins
Ash is definitely DLC for MK. Bruce was just fucking around. As for the game, I wouldn't get too excited. Sounds like it's going to be VR shovelware, unfortunately.
Cooper Jenkins
Dude, who the fuck cares? It's one topic. Quit being that sniveling piece of shit in grade school that ruins everyone's fun and narcs all the time.
James Harris
>Sounds like it's going to be VR shovelware, unfortunately.
If Help Wanted could work out, no reason for this not to.
Levi Morales
If it's part of reality, it's part of Azathoth's dream. If he wakes up, the dream ends. That's not even a metaphor. Reality is what's happening when Azathoth gets his REM.
Asher Hughes
I don't particularly recall Lovecraft writing about everything being Azathoth's dream. That was an addition/logical extension by later writers.
Also, if we're really getting into SCP lore, anything sufficiently pataphysical would be exempt from the dream. To them, everything else is just words on a page.
Lucas Rodriguez
Ayden Moore
Well the guy had time to catalog his finding so I'm assuming the lamb didn't actually harm him
Elijah Jones
>spirit of the holiday, and he's even nice outside of Halloween.
He's supposed to be the un-official avatar of Halloween. As far as the cult status and I are concerned, he is. Maybe for Thanksgiving we could get a Sam vs Krampus movie.
Elijah Thomas
Judging by some of the posts on the blog regarding the thing (the main one being long before it actually got named), the thing basically manifests to make you feel shitty about the deaths of people. It doesn't physically harm you, but the mental trauma would be immense.
There is also one for my boy, Bonesworth.
Brandon Johnson
Where does Spooky factor into this?
William Price
GL Labs is one of those more mysterious organizations, I suspect. Everyone KNOWS that Spooky's mansion is haunted, but they don't know how bad it truly is. They think it's just a poltergeist or two, when it's really a front for a massive eldritch location used as a base of operations for an organization dealing in demonic cosmic horrors.
I can see Spooky herself being underestimated in the supernatural community (assuming she ever leaves the house) because of how 'cute' she looks, when she's really up there with the likes of Willim Afton.
William Ramirez
Hell, he's outright known as "The Great Autumn Spirit" and is seemingly as old as the season itself, if not older. His name is also basically just shorthand for Samhain, driving in the connections even further.
Nathaniel Thomas
She wants to unleash her ghost army on the world, she's a pretty high-tier threat I'd say.
Henry Butler
There were some thousands of ghosts there. Assuming she ever gets around to releasing all those, she could genuinely overrun the world.
Adrian Nelson
Her and William are both high tier threats.
Jack Nelson
I'd argue for Spooky being slightly more dangerous because she has GL Labs, her house/mansion, all the specimens, and whatever personal reality-fuckery she has for herself. She's basically a deity instead of being a proper ghost.
William gets frighteningly close, but he's not quite there yet.
Nolan Morgan

Isn't he just a computer virus? Please don't tell me this is something matpat came up with.

And you're the retard perpetually bumping it because you can't hide a fucking thread. If you're really so asspained about it, just report the damn thread. If you're right about it not being "muh comics and cartoons reeee", then the mods will end up deleting it.
Josiah Jackson
>implying that it's one person
Connor Jones
Oh fuck off. We had a thread about evil clowns that lasted for days on here and went hundreds of posts before any Yea Forums examples (even the Joker, who some idiot said was never portrayed as evil until after It) were mentioned. If that shit can be tolerated, as well as all the non-animated pre-school show threads, so can this. It's not like the mods are gonna give us /hor/ or something.
Jordan Lee
>when the only substantial part of your thread that isn't reposted is fnaf lads shitposting about their australian demigod
Zachary Hughes
There's also a literal not-even-disgusied MHA thread going on right fucking now with well over a 100 posts in it. This autist doesn't even give a shit about that, but will shit up this one thread for literally no other reason than it offended his autism.
Blow it out your ass.
Logan Robinson
There is now also a comparison thread between Ash and Ben 10. Guarantee this dumbass will complain about this thread, but won't even notice that one. Because for whatever reason something started from discussion on Yea Forums shouldn't be on Yea Forums, right?
What a bad fucking joke.
Colton Perry
But they're not wrong. Take a look at /vg/'s FNAF general, those motherfuckers are having the time of their fucking lives shitposting about a purple cunt from Australia running over children while drunk and listening to Oingo Boingo.
Hudson Wilson
And that's fun, and its certainly fun when that kind of stuff comes over here. But it certainly isn't "THE ONLY SUBSTANTIAL THING HURRPDURRPDURRP." That's just raw drooling retardation from somebody who probably eats dicks.
Juan Lee
What else has this thread accomplished other than people arguing about its existence?
Tyler Morales
>people
You mean one sperg with a bone to pick? Prior to the autismo, things were fine. Slow, but overall probably the best thread on Yea Forums in well over a month.
Mason Turner
>one sperg
It's already been proven that it's not just one person, even though you think it's that way.
Gabriel Morgan
>It's already been proven
If you think the one fucking screencap is any proof of anything, then all you're really proving is that you're an even bigger retard than I imagined.
Dominic Thomas
>everyone that disagrees with me is the same person!
Easton Thompson
Nice proof you got there.
Bentley Cox
I think the exact same fucking thing happened when someone suggested that things like Gravity Falls and Undertale shouldn't be added, so anyone with that opinion or something similar was branded as that user and put under salem witch trial tier bullshit.
Aaron Perry
>"where's the proof?"
>someone posts a screencap
>"that's not real proof!"
Logan Evans
You realize that these two situations aren't at all comparable, right?
Hudson Myers
Probably actors or script revisions.
Ryder Morgan
Why shouldn't gravity falls and undertale be part of the discussion? Undertale is scarier than most of the shit posted here
Mason Nguyen
I would just put those in that Lighter Earth
John Perez
Lighter what now?
Benjamin Ward
Just because something is "scary" doesn't mean it's horror. Undertale is not Horror, it's a comedic RPG with slightly dark undertones. If you wanna go that fucking route, why don't we include Earthbound and Kirby for having scary faces in them? Truly this is the apex of horror.
Easton Campbell
Pretty much this. I think there was a post when the subject came in the last thread that said to just dump them on one of the Earths for that kind of shit.
Exactly what it says on the tin. An Earth for shit that's technically in the genre, but is too lighthearted and whimsical to really be taken seriously.
James Miller
Oh, it's this dumbass. Go shit yourself somewhere else.
Josiah Garcia
It’s like an Earth in the Horrorverse for lighter stuff like Beetlejuice or Ghostbusters. Someone used the Multiversity Map as an example, but basically that Earth is on the far side of the lighter side of the Horror Multiverse
Asher Mitchell
If you're going to be as autistic to try and come up with a crossover with an entire genre might as well include everything you can
Lincoln Rogers
No. Just look up basically any video regarding HW. The Aussie bastard cheats death yet again.
Thomas Richardson
That doesn't make any sense at all, horror isn't categorized by the tone
Daniel Rivera
Junji Ito.
Dominic Long
True, yes, but while Scooby Doo, Gravity Falls and Ghostbusters can have horror elements, by themselves, they are not horror not do they present themselves as so, the Main Earth sort of functions as one that’s pretty much crap to live in, so a lot of those stories can’t really work in this one,

Jacob Peterson
Why exactly would we include explicit mention of Immortal Hulk and Swamp Thing when we're trying to move *away* from the Big Two?
Stop making it so blatant you only jumped on these threads because you expected them to be places where you could actively dicksuck Immortal Hulk or other shit like that. You have your own threads for that. Use them.
Leo Green
Ghostbusters as a franchise veers into horror quite often. It's just not the kind of horror where everyone is dying and people are screaming all the time. And more often than not, it laces the horror stuff with a good dose of comedy.
Andrew Bailey
Can the Doomslayer get in on this? He's technically horror.
Elijah Roberts
He's already been mentioned multiple times throughout most of the threads.
Rip and Tear. Until it is done.
Nathaniel Thomas
How about Pokemon? The Lavender Town stuff is pretty spooky. What other properties would work with it?
Isaac Torres
NO YOU FUCKING SHITEATING FAGGOT, THE ENTIRE FUCKING POINT IS THAT THIS IS A FUCKING THREAD ABOUT HORROR ON Yea Forums YET YOU CAN'T FUCKING AFFORD TO HAVE EVEN ONE FUCKING EXAMPLE OF HORROR COMICS ON THIS FUCKING Yea Forums - C A R T O O N S A N D C O M I C S
ALL YOU FUCKING DO IS POST Yea Forums AND SCP SHIT CLAIMING YOU'RE FUCKING MASTERS OF THE GODDAMN HORROR GENRE WHO KNOW ABOUT THE INNER WORKINGS OF THE HUMAN MIND BETTER THAN FAUST AND GIGER, YET HERE YOU ARE BEING UNABLE TO LIST ONE EXAMPLE OF ACTUAL FUCKING HORROR COMICS ON THIS GODDAMN C O M I C S B O A R D

NO YOU SHIT SKULL, JUST BECAUSE YOU MENTION IT DOESN'T MAKE IT ON TOPIC. YOU'LL POST IT ONCE THEN GO BACK TO BEATING IT TO YOUR GODDAMN UBER GOD SCP THAT HUMANITY CAN DO NOTHING ABOUT FOR NO FUCKING REASON DO NOT STEAL. IF YOU WANT TO FUCKING PUT A HORROR THREAD ON Yea Forums YOU COULD AT LEAST ACTUALLY FUCKING TALK ABOUT HORROR COMICS, NOT EVEN THE FUCKING BIG TWO, BUT SINCE YOU FEEL THE NEED TO TALK ABOUT THINGS THAT DON'T EVEN RELATE TO THE MAIN FUCKING TOPIC IT HAS TO BE EVERYTHING THAT CAN BE BARELY FUCKING QUALIFIED ABOUT HORROR
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK
Samuel Gray
A version of some of those things could be in the Horrorverse Prime Earth. Like for instance assuming that Syfy Banana Splits movie doesn't drastically change their world, it could take place on Horrorverse Prime, while Lighter Earth gets regular Banana Splits.
Horrorverse Prime Ghostbusters would be generally the movie versions plus some elements from IDW, Real GB, and Extreme GB while Lighter Earth would be all of Real Ghostbusters.
There was also the idea that even though Horrorverse Prime has a lot of bad shit happening there are some people who are inexplicably lucky to evade all of it. Scooby and Shaggy is an example, Abbott and Costello is another.
Ethan King
It's the fault of whoever started this shit for making a general with such a broad scope, should have specified horror comics and cartoons instead of making everything fair game. Hell, the normal horror comic threads that pop up every now and again are much better than this abomination of a thread.

Jack Baker
Many of the boards were created entirely out of random desires or were made solely to act as containment for worse shit. They exist solely for the shit people don't like to be shoved in a fucking box at random.
And I'd honestly have an off-topic thread over the shit infesting the catalog right now.
You already had your autistic breakdown up above. Leave. You have no more credibility than Barney does when he spams horsecock all over a thread.
Jacob Stewart

The type of people who can't understand why anyone could enjoy anything or want anything that isn't just more shitposting. The exact same type of people who've turned this entire site into their designated shitting street, and have no intention of stopping until anything non-cancerous is stamped out.
Jose Peterson

Becuase of you. The thread was literally going slower than molasses until you and all your buttbuddies came in like it was the fifth of fucking July and someone announced that it was gay orgy time in the streets. And then you had a mental breakdown when people kept on calling you out as the obsessively autistic faggot you are.

Colton James
This one dumbass literally went over to /tg/ to try and 'warn' them or some shit like that. It's not even that he's assuming everyone's out to get him. It's him being insane and trying to start a purposeful shitstorms between two boards.
Aiden Cox
It's not just here and it's not just this dipshit. If I've learned anything from frequenting this site it's that there is no shortage of autistic idiots that can't overlook a topic they disagree with without entering it and shitting it all up with their mental disorder. Like lord forbid people have decent conversations without some retard shitting in the punch bowl.
Adam Foster
IT'S ALL FOR YOU, DAMIAN!!!!
Alexander Roberts
I'm not even sure WHY these kinds of people come here. All they ever offer is raw negativity and shitting things up whenever people aren't being as godawfully cancerous and depressive as they are.
I'm not sure how they can even live like this, bieng as unpleasant as they are.
Tyler Torres
Because this thread is off topic and only barely clings onto being comics related. Simple as that.
Robert Mitchell
Not only are there legitimately worse than this thread, you have dozens of other 'on-topic' (like that phrase fucking means anything anymore) threads on the board right now. Fuck off to those and don't come back.
Nathaniel Morales
That's all they exist for. See: . I'm convinced their soul purpose is to just seek out and shit on anyone having conversations outside of what they deem to be acceptable. It would be far easier to ignore it and let the topic die out due to limited interaction but they get off on being authoritarian and disruptive.
They could easily create or enter topics that they do deem to be on topic but at the end of the day they don't care about the state of the board they just want to argue.
Hudson Sanchez
DORK.
Connor Nguyen
>They could easily create or enter topics that they do deem to be on topic but at the end of the day they don't care about the state of the board they just want to argue.
Fucking this. I have seen these faggots nitpick over the smallest things not being strictly "on-topic" just so they can start a shitstorm in an otherwise good thread, for literally no reason other than they enjoy ruining things for other people. And when you point them at the genuine off-topic threads on the board (ESPCEIALLY the shitposting ones), they ignore you or otherwise brush you off, and continue to shit up a once good thread whilst letting the literal cancer spread without even a single complaint.
Though I think this one is especially bad, because these faggots were willingly to go so far as to try and drag another board into this, whilst purposefully leaving out the fact that they're the ones who started the clusterfuck. In most other cases, you can at least isolate them to one or two threads for a time.
Justin Hall
You know, you wouldn't have this problem if you had this thread in the proper place.
Ethan Cooper
That Chucky movie was pretty good no lie
Joseph James
We wouldn't have this problem if you just fucked off to any of the threads that suit you on the catalog.
Ethan Allen
I'd only be into a Trick 'r' Treat 2 if Dougherty came back to write/direct. But he's kinda hit it big now after Godzilla: King of the Monsters, so he might never "regress" to doing cheap horror flicks like Trick 'r' Treat or Krampus again.
John Turner
KOTM is a great film, so I can't say that I'm mad at the guy. He put in his heart and soul, and made a Godzilla film that does so much.
Owen Diaz
Well, I can't read Dougherty's mind or anything, but I get the impression that he just viewed Godzilla KOTM as another kind of horror film, not that different from TrT and Krampus. One that cost several hundred million more to make, but still just a horror film.
I mean, John Carpenter never quit making horror films even after he started doing big budget star-studded blockbusters, so there's no guarantee Dougherty considers himself "too good" for horror movies anymore.
Michael Gutierrez
>I'd only be into a Trick 'r' Treat 2 if Dougherty came back to write/direct.
Dougherty created Sam in his animated short "Season's Greetings" so I think he holds a special attachment to the characters:
I doubt he'd just let some people with no oversight shit out a bunch of crappy Trick r Treat sequels. If he cared that little, he'd have let it happen years ago. (that said, I'd like it if Dougherty did a different season/holiday horror flick, like Easter or something, instead of going back to Halloween).

Given how the latest movie had him possessing multiple bodies, and finally a female one, I can actually see this happening.

Who would win between Cult Chucky and Reboot Chucky?
Jaxon Cook
>Who would win between Cult Chucky and Reboot Chucky?
Cult Chucky can possess multiple bodies at the same time, be they doll or human, but if you destroy/kill all the bodies, he'll be dead eventually.
Reboot Chucky's AI exists "in the cloud" and he can wirelessly upload his consciousness into different machines and computers anywhere, anytime, even if you destroy all his bodies. Outside of the complete technological collapse of civilization, there isn't really a way to destroy Reboot Chucky.
Tyler Phillips
>Reboot Chucky's AI exists "in the cloud" and he can wirelessly upload his consciousness into different machines and computers anywhere, anytime, even if you destroy all his bodies. Outside of the complete technological collapse of civilization, there isn't really a way to destroy Reboot Chucky.

Jose Jenkins
It seems there is some bad blood between the creator of Chucky and the studio doing the reboot but a Chucky Vs. Buddi movie would be pretty neat.
I think last I heard on the series is that it was going to keep with the tone of the first couple of movies so I don't know if that means they're going to abandon the multiple Chucky plot line or not.
Blake Cooper
>I don't know if that means they're going to abandon the multiple Chucky plot line or not.
I'm sure they'll keep it. Don Mancini is pretty strict with maintaining continuity. And anyway, Cult left off with Fiona Dourif getting possessed by Chucky and the only reason Brad Dourif keeps agreeing to be in these movies is so his daughter can get acting gigs. So they'll have to continue on with at least her character.
Robert Rivera
You masturbating probably counts as enough of a reason.
Bentley Jones
jason is immortal dude
Asher Ortiz
Jason was the hero of those movies. Something needs to be done about these horny teenagers.

If DK banana-slamma-ed Jason to pieces, Jason's heart could just transform into the Hellbaby and worm its way up DK's butthole, possessing him until eventually his body melts and Jason's Hellbaby form moves on to a new host.
This is canon, btw.

Adam Collins
I believe Man-Thing got referenced offhand in one of the early threads. Don't know if we ever went in depth with him.
Aiden Bennett
I think the idea is that it'd be kind of like the early Savage Tales comics combined with some elements from the MAX version (like Digger narrating the story and burying the people Man-Thing killed), but pretending that the Super Soldier Serum didn't exist (he would just be working on some other formula).
There was also a look into the MAX versions of Man-Thing and Devil Slayer.
Joseph Allen
We talked about how both DC and Marvel have similar swamp monsters, and both are connected to extra-dimensional, elemental forces (The Green, The Nexus) and how for the Horrorverse there may be a similar nexus which empowers all swamp elementals like The Heap and Theodore Strugeon's It. It got derailed though by some Alan Moore autist who got mad when someone pointed out that Steve Gerber originated a lot of ideas Moore later used in his ST run.
Also, Man-Thing's Dead of Night origin was hosted by Digger, who is one of our confirmed horror hosts.
Ethan Butler

This will be my final post on Yea Forums.
How can anyone think that this is scary for real ? How can anyone take seriously a horror book with the Hulk as a supposed to be frightening monster ? How can anyone see the Hulk as frightening for real in this book ?
"Ouh, the Hulk is smiling, so unsetlling, this is so scary guys..." why are you lying to yourself like that ?
You guys are just forcing onto yourself the new fade there will be in this hivemind of a board, with the blandest, tamest, most classicly safe comic book there can be, while your selective outrage is shitting on King's Batman for things that would be praised if they were written by someone else, but NOOOOOOOOOOOO you have to shit on it even if it's good because the hivemind dictates you to do so !!!
No wonder you can't get laid, but guess what ? I got a girlfriend now. For the first time of my life after 24 years I finally got a girlfriend, and all that nerd fuss has become so irritating since.
I'm just leaving for good now, I had plenty of fun with that board but I'm done. I wish you to get girlfriends to, maybe it will open your eyes about the hivemind that is destructing your self, but sadly, the hivemind is probably keeping you away from being able to seduce anyone, so you're most likely trapped in a vicious circle, and sadly, there is no Savage Dragon to save you from it. I just hope that this message will maybe help you to think by yourself a bit more and to get a girlfriend to.
Enjoy your book.

Here's a big think for you if these threads trigger you do much: Hide them. Hide, ignore, sage or any number of other things. And then go make the threads that you want to see on the board, and that you want to post in.
Because at this point, I'm fairly certain there's adequate grounds to report you and see what the mods think of things. And you will not be in any good state if they get off their asses and decide to have you eat three days for being a bunch of obnoxious faggots, I'll tell you now.

Jonathan Gomez
Maybe. But it's really up to the staff. And honestly, I'd sooner take my chances with them then a bunch of people who clearly aren't using this board to discuss any comics and cartoons they like, but want to play out a puritanical dictatorship fantasy on fucking Yea Forums of all places.
