Literally Custodes helmets photoshopped onto cutouts of the Pillar Men.

Pretty fantastic, they did a real cool job showing how space marines are both super strong AND super fast. And I love how there hasn't been any dialogue as of ydt, helps add to the sense of how laser focused they are.

They're not chaos worshippers, there is no indication of any chaotic corruption, rune or symbol. As for what's in the container, it's dangerous and it's going to kill marines. It's also probably what was controlling the psykers and the guardsmen.

All of the old lore involving what went down between Horus and the emperor in their final face-off is basically retconned.
As it is currently in the HH the emperor doesn't seem compassionate or loving enough to weaken at such a decisive moment at all.
