I just want a spiderman cartoon that is actually seriously and mature
I grew up watching spiderman the new animated series so I always saw spiderman as a serious hero that wasn’t fucking around, right now everything spiderman related is just retarded jokes and cheap ugly looking cartoons
I hope people get bored of Spider-Man’s shitty jokes and Disney just comes back to the lonely disciplined hero I fell in love with
I just want a spiderman cartoon that is actually seriously and mature
>”seriously and mature”
1. Go back to kindergarten and learn proper grammar
2. Spider-man was never that serious. Sure he had some serious storylines, but he’s always been known to quip and have silly shit in his series. He’s pretty lighthearted compared to other Marvel characters, and I think that added some accessibility to the character that gave him his current overall popularity as a hero. ALSO HOW DO YOU TAKE SPIDER-MAN SERIOUSLY WITH VILLAINS LIKE BIG WHEEL AND KANGAROO IN HIS ROGUES GALLERY?
tldr: Spider-man was always goofy and lighthearted, you just didn’t notice.
He had his serious moments and those moments are more memorable than the goofy stuff
No? Most people remember him as a quipping wall crawler that teases J. Jonah Jameson while also fighting actual villains with a carefree attitude.
Just watch Spectacular.
>I grew up watching spiderman the new animated series
>has one season
I understand what you're saying user and I agree but come one now. I loved TNAS and I think Raimi's Spider-Man 1 and 2 fill that void since he's alot more serious in those films and I too wish for something new to fill that void
But user the strength of that series was that while the series was dark spidey was his usual jokey self unlike the dry tobey maguire interpretation
God this version of MJ would be top slut
>tfw no big titty bobcut gf redhead with chocker
this, though it did have a heavy hand in soap opera style story telling but then it was childishly cheesy.
Watch the animated series from 94.
>I always saw spiderman as a serious hero that wasn’t fucking around
You've been lied to, my dude.
That's just what Spider-Man is.
It might still work, though. Breaking Bad style where it's (Relatively) light at first until it gets progressively serious?
Or Spider-Man's one of the only "Kid-Friendly" quippers. Everyone else acts like a "sailor" to "occasional f word" like an actual adult, and everyone else outright calls him a man child?
>I always saw spiderman as a serious hero that wasn’t fucking around,
Spider-Man can be a serious hero while joking around. maybe not in tone, but he's still quite powerful Works to help others underestimate him too.
He doesn't have to be another Frank Castle.
He's literally the quipper of the Marvel universe besides Deadpool. How do you read a character this wrong?
This.
I'm not even sure where this misconception of Spider-Man comes from, but it's definitely not from the comics. I can't remember an instance in which he didn't have a carefree attitude, either his own series or elsewhere.
Deadpool if anything is the Spidey ripoff.
I just wanted to know what Venom would look like on this show. That's all.
total fucking historical revisionism. the way spider-man is portrayed today spits in the face of a character who was competently written and had serious troubles for the majority of his publication.
But Batman has plenty of silly villains too
This has to be bait
>the way spider-man is portrayed today spits in the face of a character who was competently written and had serious troubles for the majority of his publication
Really now? Okay, explain EXACTLY what's the difference between Spencer's current portrayal of Spider-Man compared to another very specific writer, to see what changed. This will be fun.
>the lonely disciplined hero I fell in love with
I'm sorry, user, you seem to have mistaken Spider-Man for Bruce Wayne.
Atleast you had a history of awesome non comic appearance in past.
I am deadpool fan. Almost every one of his appearance outside comics is too waypool.
