don't know about tats specifically. I know a different guy IRL who became a bit of a crazy feminist (not coherent or mainstream feminist, but just weird and extreme). What happened is, he was always a bit misogynistic (nothing extreme, just rude jokes an stuff). Then he raped a girl, and the guilt really fucked him up, and he became a man-hating insane person.
