At first it seemed like edgy garbage, but the fact that Ash freeing the Pokemon actually causing bad things to happen and has consequences is an interesting take. I mean it doesn't make it not edgy garbage but at least their trying more then others usually would with such an idea.
Plus that moment of the Gyarados bursting out of the Arboc was just cool no matter the edge.

Meh. I'm not against things being edgy and gory as a general thing. It's whatever. But we've seen this shit so many times. Like half of all Pokemon parodies are either edgy gorefests or sex. Or, in the case Lyra raping a Quilava, both.
The art style and animation suck, but at least they're a step above every other parody's.
