Make teams and rate them

Easy way to make collages? Too lazy even for paint.

Last thread someone suggested Batman and Superman leading two different Justice League teams, one for cosmic level threats and one for global level threats.
I expanded upon that by creating a Justice League roster made up of three separate divisions, each one headed by a member of the trinity.
Superman's division would take care of interplanetary and high-global level threats, Batman's division would take care of low-global and international level threats and Wonder Woman's division would take care of mystic threats.
All three divisions would come together to make one big JLU-sized for serious world-ending scenarios.

Guess we could just use this chart for a template. Just snip off the bits you're not using.

You can't just mix and match superheroes and put them into some giant brawl, it's fucking ugly every time
Jeremiah Davis
Hmm, liking a lot, always good to see the Trinity have their own little factions.

Monica and Clint get called in to form an Avengers B-Team that gets to hang out in the celestial corpse with the rest. They get tangled up in some X-Man stuff on the way and decide to reform the unity squad with them. Alex is leader with Monica as #2.
Betsy brings Sabretooth back from a later mission after digging up his inverted self from his brain.

This is the Marvel Pulp/Noir 40s action adventure mystery squad. Featuring that one Peggy Carter Bucky, because I like the idea.

Here's my Strange Adventurers team from the last thread.
The Atomic Knights (who are 100% real in this continuity) Gardner Grayle and Marene Herald come to the present to try and prevent the events of the Great Disaster, and form a team; Animal Man (who understands the nature of reality with his fourth wall-defying), Enchantress (who has fully conquered her evil side, at the cost of never being able to resume life as June Moon), Captain Comet (who acts like he should be the leader, being an old school adventurer hero as well as an evolved future man), Deadman (whose power to possess people comes in handy) and The Faceless Creature (who is a benevolent member of his race and pacifistic, even though he's potentially the strongest).

Here's Lex Luthor and his own hand-picked Justice League made specifically to prove to Superman that he can do a better job of saving the world than him.

To be more constructive with my criticism, you should switch out Stargirl with Power Girl. Courtney is more of a street leveler than Karen.
Leo Adams
Wait, do comics not have healers? I can only think of video game characters that heal.
Michael Wood
Bitch, Zatanna and Fate can heal.
Ian Russell
I know, but I like the idea of there being one Superman to a team, with the cosmic team getting the man himself, the global/international team getting Power Girl and the mystic team getting Billy Batson.
I also like the idea of a cosmic team having at least one member who can't into cosmic shit and is a first timer in the world of weird and crazy sci-fi. That plus her relatively low age compared to everyone else is a more interesting dynamic.
Also, Power Girl is a Kryptonian. Two Kryptonians in one team just feels redundant. And Batman's team isn't street level, it's more or less regular Justice League level.

The government puts together a team of Avengers specifically made to act as a special forces branch of the US military by going into warzones on special missions, whatever they may be.
Rhodey is there to be the voice of reason among the other extreme personalities of USAgent, Ares, Rulk, Trickshot and Black Widow II
Colton Martin
Dr. Doom foresees some mystic threat that can only be thwarted in secrecy and puts together his own team of "Secret/Dark Defenders" to wipe it and other mystical threats out without hesitation.
Thomas Smith
Why are so many teams blatantly based around the worst concept in comics, meaning
>oh, we are superheroes, but we won't go easy on the baddies, we'll murder and torture, and lie, and blackmail and punish evildoers, instead of just stopping them?
Blake Green
I wanted to do a team that was kind of like Lost in Space or Star Trek but with Avengers. Through some circumstances I haven't fully fleshed out, the group would end up as space wayfarers aboard Beta Ray Bill's ship, Scuttlebutt. They'd travel the stars providing Avengers style support to any planet, vessel or individual who needs it.
Gabriel Smith
If you think that's the worst concept in comics, you need to read more comics.
Evan Gray
I really love the unity team as a concept
Charles Ward
That's how the modern GotG were founded
Leo Long
In cape comics, it's pretty up there, for me. I despise it. Mind you, I don't mind heroes who kill, but such teams often get too blergh.
David Smith
Doc Samson leads a support group for superheroes with psychological problems and emotional issues to vent with people who get what they're going through but, due to the machinations of some villain or another, they end up being flung into becoming an ad hoc Avengers team and stay together to provide a form of "active therapy".
Angel Collins
Team Clones
Why they are together? Why do they need three spider people? How is this supposed to be balanced? I don't know.

I'm getting Costanza vibes from that Hawkman

I always get Costanza vibes from Hawkman.

Liking your pics a lot, never been much of a Star Trek guy outside the GL crossover comics but this is pretty interesting

The Avengers/X-Men coalition team they made after trying to kill each other.

A while back I made an Avengers team based on Morrison's 12 Olympians template for the JLA. So I'm doing the same here for the X-Men. Personally I've had the "cosmic X-Men on Mars or some shit" storyline in head for years now, so it'll be similar to some of Hickman's picks and beats. I tried to be a bit original, but certain well-known chracters fit their roles too well. Anyway, let's get to it.
>Zeus
Cyclops: Comen, it's Chadclops. He's even got them eye-nukes.
>Hera
Jean Grey: She's always been the X-Men's mother and fits with Cyclops as the Power Couple.
>Poseidon
Namor: I had him as my Avengers Poseidon, and I supposed Iceman could work as well, but... I like Namor and he fits far, /far/ too well...
>Athena
Psylocke (British): She does fit the role. It was between her and Sage, but I feel the latter's more of a tech than a strategist genius.
>Ares
Fantomex: You probably expected Wolverine, but... Fantomex could fit the bill too, and he /does/ enjoy the killing...
>Demeter
Moira McTaggert: Not a Mutant, true, but I wanted Xavier and Moira back on a team with Magneto on the sidelines.
>Apollo
(Arch)Angel: He was supposed to be downright blindingly beautiful to look at.
>Artemis
Rogue: She a pure...
>Aphrodite
-Emma Frost: Without Morrison's Plastic retcon.
Hephaestus
Xavier: Lame legs, genius, it works. I don't like Forge and Beast is too jovial, plus, I prefer Charles, so here.
>Hermes
Quicksilver: It fits too well.
>Dionysus
Gambit: Come on, it's golden.
-
>Bonus:
-
>Hestia
Scarlet Witch: She's practically made for it.
>Hades
Magneto: I think Magnus has the brooding required. Plus, there's the Artemis thing...

Does anyone remember what the Annihilators line up was for the Marvel/DC crossover threads? I remember MMH, Alan Scott being part of it
Oliver Ramirez
The idea behind my team would be High Evolutionary discovered something deep within space and something is calling to him outside the boundaries. He assembles a team to try and go outside it and discover what it is that actually calling him.
>High Evolutionary
Team leader
>Apocalypse
Second in command, depowered, High Evolutionary promised him power and upgrades if he follows him
>The Spot
Useful for teleportation and science mind on the team
>Spectrum
Useful for her ability
>Mystique
Espionage and reconnaissance member of the team
>Carnage

Jayden Reed
Oh yeah, now I do, I think Captain Atom, Lobo and Lightray were there too
Parker Hill
That's who I was thinking it was. Pretty powerful line up
Kayden Gutierrez
Right? I’d probably add a Kryptonian there, either Kara or Karen, because with Gladiator, Supes would be a bit redundant
