Anything crossed over with Archie is awesome. Nice trips BTW.

Their crossover with Harley and Ivy was better anyway.

Yeah, you don't know what better is. You only know shit.

How big was Witchblade?
Was it like Spawn tier? Because it ended up getting a a tv show and an anime too.

this one was good

Where is the fucking storytime

>Witchblade Wonder Woman
I never knew how much I wanted this.

in the 90s and early 2000s, pretty damn big. Crossed over with EVERYTHING as you can see. Launched Micheal Turners career and became the biggest icon of the Badass Babes comic phase.
I'll do it this weekend, I gotta go to bed soon

It was pretty popular for a hot minute. The hot chick art was the reason for sales, but it also featured a semi-interesting story which was unusual at the time. Most books like that were terrible to read.

Until Sunstone became their best selling comic of all time, I'm pretty sure Top Cow was running off of the residuals from Withcblade.

Pretty much all of the DC/Looney Tunes one-shots. The only one that was good was The Martain Manhunter meets Marvin the Martain

I did not know I needed this in my life?

Come to think of it, that joke about Puck masturbating to child pornography and then killing himself was awfully foreboding.

why doe that shit even happen, I doubt there's any overlap between comic readers and phoneslaves.

Children like toys and phone games.

they don't read comics.

>Children don't read comics about a toy franchise for children

Really, nigga? Really?

>no lobo x mask x Archie

The comic was just one of many things. They had toys and a mobile game as well. It made sense since the Angry Birds and Transformers comics were both under IDW, so a tie-in comic to promote the crossover isn't a stretch.

sales prove it. They are vivacious and demand new things. You are old and about to die.

>Things that aged like cottage cheese left out in the sun

It set the course, but I think it took years before Archie made out-there crossovers.

More like a team-up than a crossover, but still...

But there's no Dave the Barbarian.

Looking forward to it!

What are they, the Ameba Boys?

What?

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Salling

This will probably be a hell of a lot better than the Archie titles. Their whole line went to shit in the late 2000s when Goldwater II died.

Same

You know, I don't think we had one thread about this when it was coming out.

Wouldn't supes just wipe the floor with both of them?

what from is the crow ? the crow ?

Usually when Superman is crossed over with Aliens/Predator he's under some sort of crippling handicap that has drained his powers.

Why does Venom have a purple dick?

So he can fuck Spider Man

Attached: Screen Shot 2019-06-20 at 17.34.28.png (874x868, 1.81M)

I can't believe I loved this so much I was glad Disney bought Marvel to enable shit like that.
I still love that episode tho

>Anything crossed over with Archie is awful
FTFY
Archie is a garbage comic that should have died out years ago. All these bizarre crossovers are just attempts at being outlandish to try and get people to remember them for a split second and stave off their eventual death. Archie has never had any stories that were entertaining or unique enough to warrant people going back and reading their old shit. It’s just crossover food now.

Not posting the best cover

It's his prolapse.

The comic we needed.

Attached: Gladiator Supreme Cover.jpg (995x739, 322K)

>Mars Attacks KISS

Okay, yeah... that's still chuckle worthy.

All of this was way better than it should have been.

Expecially the comic book and its extreme tongue-in-cheek tones. Like when the birds become Transformers for the first time and they do the Marvel comic infodump thing, or the convoluted explanations to make the yellow bird mute like Bayformer Bumblebee and the green bird dumb like Grimlock, or how the red bird as Optimus Prime speaks in nothing but mishmashes of every famous speech done by both G1 and movie Optimuses.

I remember they once had their entire ongoing comics have a zombie crossover.
And then they had a Mars Attacks crossover too.

Were any of these good?

Attached: 41i1bTkSqRL.jpg (325x500, 29K)

That's not even the most baffling Archie crossover.

This was the book that proved to me that King was VERY wrong for Batman...

and that was before she got the witchblade

>antifa manifestation in the streets of New York, circa 2014, colorized.

Created by Jack Kirby

That one was especially weird considering this was the Hearts of Steel Transformers universe and implied the Transformers fought quietly enough to be considered an urban legend.

The Spike one and the Dredd one were just covers (though they did eventually do an actual Mars Attacks Dredd comic).

Popeye one was pretty good, Transformers was hilarious. RGB one was okay. I didn't read the KISS one yet.

t. NPC

That was super weird. It's like the guys doing the show KNOW.

Fuck you, I liked it. I loved their fight

Shame that "Archie Meets Batman '66" is probably going to be the last new Batman '66 thing before it goes back into legal limbo thanks to Disney buying Fox.

I'm glad this shitty series retconned itself out of existence at the end, it's definitely the worst of the AOD crossovers.

There was Lobo x Mask

>Whiplash there because they need an Iron Man villain and movie synergy

Ian JQ personally posted about the cartoon the moment it was out in the spooktober thread.

he doesn't just know, he actively participates in it.

This series was way better than I expected it to be. I wonder how much Tarantino actually contributed to this and how much Jerrod Carmichael is gonna keep when he writes the film version.

Attached: DjangoZorro03CovCSubMayhew.jpg (600x900, 94K)

I'm just wondering if/when Sonic is gonna crossover with any of the other IDW series.
Just imagine a Sonic/Star Wars crossover

I've never read it, but I'm going to take a wild guess and say it took place on a planet orbiting a red sun.

This had no right to be as good as it was.

Wait, Sunstone is actually published?

IIRCIt was Darkseid who found the xenomorphs first and used it a a weapon against Clark.

please just give me a book with Logan and Worf going to bars, maybe tracking someone, and getting into drunken bar brawls.

uh yeah...that's why Top Cow is making a lot of books about sex lives now.

What would Bikini Bottom's stance on the Iraq War be?

Why would they give a shit? They're underwater.

It was great. That's what was so baffling.

OP and being straight

>Battle of the Planets
That comic might be good, but why use that version? Why Battle and not Gatchaman or at least G-Force? It's like using the 4kids versions of shows, pointless.

>1/3rd of those Glee cast members are dead by suicide
Glee was apparently a very ironic title

Because it's banking on people who are nostalgic for the show they saw on TV not the several anime it was based on.

I think we're all forgetting the greatest crossover of all time

fucking Jafar came back for this

MEMBER WHEN THE BANANA SPLITS CROSSED OVER WITH SUICIDE SQUAD

>Fudd has faced off against Bugs Bunny for so long that Batman would honestly be an easier fight for him

Batman vs Predator is unironically one of if not the best Predator comics ever made.

This comic had no reason to be so good

>No mention of the Scooby Doo movies

Fuck that. I want Sonic & Judge Dredd.
Mega City One is pretty much everything Sonic stands against.

Hercules takes place post-Aladdin which took place in the post-apocalypse future?!

Can’t wait for this movie

Top Cow did a lot of crossovers, a lot of weird crossovers.

Many of which were canon to the storylines in top cow comics. Like the darkness/Batman one, or the issue where Jackie fights Hulk and Ghost Riders only to have Dr Strange bail him out.

>mars attacks Transformers
That really dosen't seem like a fair matchup, the Martains are simply outgunned.

In the end you even feel sorry for the Predator

Attached: 1558034985083.jpg (1206x694, 135K)

Maybe there is a Planet Django?
Italian Django, American Django and Japanese Django aganist the evil slavers from the South?

What the fuck

You want to be even more confused? The story in that comic set's up the next big event for the top cow comics, meaning that it's canon to the top cow comics.

I liked them all

I remember image doing stuff like that a lot, and then they regretted it when the lawsuits began

Feel like I need to ask; storytime here or over on /aco/?

Plus it also indicated the Hulk/Darkness crossover was canon.

Attached: RCO012_1494065918.jpg (1024x1600, 614K)

Well top cow is part of image, did they manage to avoid lawsuits?
Top Cow was weird

>and then they regretted it when the lawsuits began

Which lawsuits?

Is it though, OP? Is it?

Attached: Archie vs Predator.jpg (441x679, 91K)

That reminds me, wasn't Lara Croft also part of the Top Cow universe while they had the license?

She used to be BFF with Witchblade and they had all sorts of totally heterosexual adventures together

Attached: sigh.png (500x359, 158K)

The very late 90's early 2000s were so over the top in terms of experimentation. Video Games and Comics were in their creative prime.

>All the cover depict the Martians wrecking shit and being threatening.
>Except Judge Dredd's
"Attempt of block invasion, use of non-licensed ray weaponry, stationing of a non-regulated flying vehicle on unauthorized area..."

What's KO crossing over with?

Had that one as a teen back in '98. Did anyone expect Picard meeting Xavier as foreshadowing?

I first saw it in a used bookstore around 2005, by which point Picard and Xavier were both Patrick Stewart to me.

Attached: Sonic-Super-Special-7-1998-Cover.jpg (600x916, 164K)

all of the cross overs I have read have been cannon to Top Cow. The Marvel one just had Dr Strange erase the memories of everyone except himself`

Terminator vs Alien vs Predator.. I lost my copy and I'm too mad to look for an image online

you guys forget that this was when Marvel was struggling. They were clamouring for some of the Image crowd. These crossovers were MARVEL trying to stay relevant, not Top Cow

Stewart refused to have a photo cover of him next to Xavier cause he felt it would be too weird if he ended up playing the character in the future...cause of course he would end up playing that character, he knew a long time before the movies started.

There's also a Superman vs Termimator where Cyborg Superman teams up with Skynet so they both help each other deal with each other's enemies. Superman and Sarah and John Conner.

Huh, well damn. I thought it's only Serpieri posting on his DeviantArt.

Attached: portada.jpg (1000x1397, 363K)

Mi negro. Este cómic es mucho mejor de lo que me podía esperar con la premisa.

Los de Zipi y Zape no estaban mal, tampoco.

I'm a little sad now..

Attached: AvPvtT.jpg (251x395, 32K)

They should have just had one picture of Patrick Stewart's face, but not shown the uniform so years later people would argue who was on the cover

Expected awesomeness. Got a Cleveland steamer instead

>Expecting anything awesome from Sonic.

Not this time. The writing was terrible.

YOU forgot when those two crossovers were out. Unholy Union was out in 2007, a year after Civil War. Hulk/Darkness was 2004. This was long after Marvel had hit Spider-Man and X-Men movies.

And speaking of variants that didn't happen in story.

Attached: mars attacks dredd stan lee variant.jpg (627x951, 188K)

If it had a competent writer instead of Lenders it would've been amazing or at least fun to read. Sadly Archie's tightwad tactics resulted in this late '90s pre-Adventure dumpster fire.

How heterosexual are we talking here?

>>Lenders
Kek. Lemme guess, Autocorrect?

People from this day forth Penders shall be known as Lenders

>ewing
I should have known.
