I've known RotTMNT for just 3 days and I'm already obsessed with it. Why do people hate this show? I think it's great, but it's probably because I had zero contact with this franchise until days ago

Well, then it sucks to be them. But I kinda see what's happening. I guess the change is so big, it becomes.... alienating? Like, I don't see myself watching any other versions because they don't match the current one. The same may happen with oldschool fans

Indeed, true fans accept them as very separate entities and enjoy each for it's unique flavor.
This just happens to be my favorite.
I enjoyed the 2003 series and 2012, as well as the comics.
It's just a matter of not assuming the turtles you know are the true turtles.
