The man has issues. I honestly like my heroes aging with me, because I accept my mortality, and see the interesting stories and age could tell. I want a Superman story where he and Diana are dealing with the majority of the League being old and retired and everyone treating them like walking gods, and that causing issues with the everyday running of things. I want Batman slowing down, struggling, and over an arc passing the mantle to Nightwing slowly with Dick being utterly oblivious at first, while Commisioner Gordon (Babs edition) helps, but teases him for missing it, with some Damien being bitter but becoming the new Nightwing at the end. I want to see Ollie start missing shots he could have made when he was younger, and Pretty Bird being vein about grey hairs, and their child choosing NOT to follow in the family footsteps and them having to make peace with that.
But no. Batman must be the same when I'm elderly and dying as he was when I was eight, for some reason.
