I'm gonna be blunt and say there's no synopsis because I don't really feel attached to the Simon and Betty plotline so...here you all go.
Written by Olivia Olson. This is the final chapter in the Simon and Marcy comicline and takes place after the Finale? Whether or not it also shares the same universe as the Season 11 books is a mystery. But enough talk. Lets get to posting.
Didn't think Olivia was going to unfuse Golbetty, but she actually did it.
Thanks for the storytime man

Thanks, OP.
I'm glad she also turned Peppermint Butler back to his old self.

I dunno. With all the shit that Finn was put through and everyone's problems getting resolved in a nice bow and a happily ever after while he's still gotta struggle with not being the top hero, fern's death and him not being anywhere near his full potential because of dumb arcs like Martin just rubs me the wrong way.
Eh. I still consider Season 11 to be a good ending to him, despite being abruptly cancelled.

Oh boy. He built a house and the dude's got the elemental princesses out powerscaling him and Jake, has his swordsmanship deteriorate over years and has to still try and forget Fern after all the other shit life piled on top of him. Dude's not at all where he should've been imo. And i'm not imagining him as some shounen, "can do no wrong" harem master that's always right.
It's like the game We Happy Few when you don't take the pill and everything is shit around him.
>the people that praised the finale outside of Yea Forums are complaining that the comic undo Betty's sacrifice Not enough lesbians for them, I suppose. Don't care if the comic is shit, I just want to see them pissed off.
I find it annoying how everyone's problems were solved all happy happy and Finn just had to deal with the brunt of all the shit thrown at him.

Idk i always liked how he kept his childlike optimism despite all the heartbreaks and limitations hes been handed. Plus he never seemed the sort to have a bruised ego over someone being more powerful and he keeps trying no matter what. I think it's a solid lesson about life. Like it doesn't go the way you plan, you may never be the strongest hero and get the princess but it all works out anyway and you make close friends and have a good time and grow. Idk why all of Yea Forums got butthurt about his whole ending not being the absolute happiest tied up thing when the show never stuck to that kinda cliche to begin with.

Finn has suffered enough already.

>Like it doesn't go the way you plan >Idk why all of Yea Forums got butthurt about his whole ending not being the absolute happiest tied up thing when the show never stuck to that kinda cliche to begin with. Like PB and Marcy and all the side characters getting all their arcs wrapped up in a neat little bow? I'm tired of all the shit shovled onto Finn and people go "well that's life!" when characters like FP shouldn't have been able to take over the Fire Kingdom and run it so smoothly, literally brought back Root Beer Guy and Prismo (and now Betty) because "welp why not"
> and he keeps trying no matter what He never gets BETTER. There are no RESULTS like the other many characters in the series besides more "muh mature" shit and lessons crammed down on him that he already learned in past seasons. the "life isn't always as you expect it" angle is a shitty copout for bad writing especially with how retroactive writing influenced lore.
>Like it doesn't go the way you plan Like with Joshua and Margret's deaths you dolt?
>Plus he never seemed the sort to have a bruised ego over someone being more powerful and he keeps trying no matter what. Because he's kept in line and not allowed to think about that shit when it would make him a much better character. Called the Champion of Ooo so many times only to be surpassed by all these people and he goes "well I guess im not lol" after adventuring for all his life? Fuck outta here
What is there for him after the series? The show made it it's damned mission to force feed you the narrative that "Finn great strong hero bad! Weakling human (in a land of magical creatures inspired by DND where you're SUPPOSED to use all the shit around you fpr god's sake) good!" He certainly won't be the Candy Kingdom's champion anymore because that goes to Marceline now. He gets walloped by most bad dudes that swing his way nowadays and you wanna feed me this "not as expected but hey that's life!" mundane ass shit. It's obnoxious
Well that was something. I tried to care for this arc but I just couldn't get into it. Oh well, not as bad as the time travel arc. So is this the last entry in AT comics or was there a novel coming out? By the way, thanks OP, you a real one
Jeez youre mad about this. Its ok you didnt like a show man.
He does get some happy endings like figuring out where he came from and he discovers all the other humans and defeated the lich multiple times. Yeah hes not like physically strongest but damn hes human in a world where half of everything has super powers hell never be stronger than. But hes usually clever or friendly enough to get by and make a name for himself. Idk seems like a sweet life he got. The show left betty w a fucked up situation but obviously the comic fixed it fine. But honestly when i think about the other characters its not like by the end of the show anyone but flame princess level up. They all just kinda have better relationships at the end. Pb was always some genuis girl, marceline is still the vampire queen, jake is still jake.
Like youre bitching about a light hearted show teaching kids morals not letting the kid become batman. Like oh no he doesnt either suddenly become strong enough to beat superman by training smart or become angsty and resentful.

There's a Fionna and Cake graphic novel coming out and that's it. Well, until CN and Boom announces another comic miniseries or another graphic novel, like what are they doing with OtGW
You're confusing his capability (which no doubt went down) with being strung from plotline to plotline (King of Ooo to Orgalorg to Stakes, etc)
There's a problem with him being able to hold his own against the Lich, Giant monsters, armies (in FP's words and she HATES lying) and strong ass Marauders only to wipe all that capability off the face of the planet because you wanna feel all "safe and down to earth" for your entire life.
>Pb was always some genuis girl, marceline is still the vampire queen, jake is still jake. And FINN could clobber dudes and strives to be a better hero. He WAS relied upon for fighting formidable foes across the land. He never grows stronger and only stagnates to the point of the elemental princesses, PB and Marceline possibly doing a better job than him. That poses a problem when Finn's entire livelihood is taken away because some drooling fools wanna flip the show on it's head and leave him out in the cold. Being a competent hero is something that was ALWAYS attached to Finn but got lost in the "mature muh gf/dad/where do I belong/depression" shit and nobody seems to remember WHY he was so respected and called upon so many times in the first place.
>The show left betty w a fucked up situation but obviously the comic fixed it fine. Betty is essentially if they brought back Joshua and Margret from the dead. Hell why not give Finn a flesh arm again or bring back Maja and Margles if we're just gonna up and revive people or reverse plotlines? Finn going steady or slamming bad dudes getting better? Fuck no, but ignore xyz because that's (how we wanna avoid shit) life!
>He does get some happy endings like figuring out where he came from Which was back in season 7 and was not a closure of his life since the show kept going. New problems arise and they didn nothing with him.
Notice how I never call him a cuckold or beta loser, user. Maybe use your words instead of posting pictures like it will win an argument for you.
>He does get some happy endings like figuring out where he came from and he discovers all the other humans and defeated the lich multiple times. SOME. What does he do after the finale considering , does he ever get a proper arm again or does he go full Muto and never gets a replacement? Do him and Jake drift apart but still meet up now that their home is gone? Swordsmanship? Does he become more disciplined in daily life and in combat? The only thing you can say about Finn is that he's on an "upward trajectory" without anything to springboard off of. Hey the humans are here now that means he's good now!!!!!
