SU's my favorite and She-ra's OK. Will probably give Owl House a watch when it drops.
Haven't watched a single one.
New Carmen Sandiego has a female executive producer too btw
Steven Universe, She-Ra, and Summer Camp Island are kino
Star vs. the Forces of Evil started out boring and mediocre, became good in S2 and S3, then completely fucked up in S4
>DC Super Hero Girls
we all know what Laruen Fausts' big accomplishment of the decade was
I haven't watched not-Bojack or not-Star vs. yet.
I actually Liked Birtie and Tuca
Can't wait to see how they fuck it up in later seasons but for now season 1 is pretty solid.
Also I can't be the only one thinking having a black bird being black coded is a little racist right?
So what Crows are the only birds that can't be black coded now?
Crows are fucking awesome, fuck you!
>Steven Universe
It's good when they try hard enough. There is a really meh/bad section between the first and last seasons, but it's overall ok. Season 5 finale was great to me tho.
>Star Vs.
Fucking garbage. Toffee was the only good thing on that shitty animated tenelovela.
>She-ra
It's ok, i'm not a big fan tho.
>Owl House
Looks interesting enough, more interesting than Amphibia and Infinity Train. i'll check it out when it premieres.
>Equestria Girls superhero edition
It's Lauren Faust, she knows what she's doing. i like this take of the super heroine HS shit yet i prefer the SBFF shorts better.
Pd. i have no clue at all about that bird thing in the bottom left corner...
Excited about The Owl House.
Also do you know that the lead writer of Hilda is a woman?
Oh yeah Luke Pearson is my waifu
I love all of them
Newsflash it's Stephanie Simpson
>SU sucks and doesn't count because Sugar is non-binary or something
>Star has a cute artstyle, never watched it though
>She-Ra owns, fuck the haters
>never watched Tuca and Bertie, looks like a Bojack clone for women
>Owl House's looking good so far
>I think the designs are ugly and superhero shit is boring. I was a fan of Faust's MLP though
It's a comic adaptation who cares who the writer is. Most of the writers for kids cartoons are female anyway.
Luke Has always the last word about any writting decision is made in the show, so he's the actual head technically speaking.
Large chunks of the show are more or less original material iirc.
I'm really looking to the loud house spinoff and high guardian spice this year
Its too bad only Steven and tucan imbrace boobs
Rebecca is a non-binary woman so she still counts. I don't really understand it either but it is what it is.
everydayfeminism.com
Is the Loud House mexibait spinoff make by a woman?
>High Guardian Spice is made by a trans man but boasts about its all-female creative team.
Really makes you think.
SU started weak, got good, then became terrible and stayed that way.
DCSHG has been good so far.
No real interest in the others.
>SU
Started out okay then got better, then progressively and hastily went to shit and it's a fucking joke now. Waifufags are probably 90% of it's remaining viewerbase on Yea Forums
>Star vs.
Likewise started out average then got somewhat better. Went full retard with middle-school tier shipping and remained trash
>She-ra
Average and forgettable. Then again, the source material was absolutely mediocre as well
>Tuca&Bertie
God-tier Bojack puns without the 24/7 focus on jerking off mental illness, therefore good.
>Owl House
Not yet released but looks good. Heres hoping it doesn't go to shit
>Faust's DC girls
Nothing special but sill enjoyable. Pretty good for what it is
My favorite by a wide margin is Summer Camp Island. DC Super Hero Girls, Tuca and Bertie have their merits. Star Vs is deeply disappointing.
The creator is overshadowed by alot of his female co-workers when talking about their show
The only one I can speak for is SU; the shows quality went downhill after Ian Jones-Quartey left to work on OK KO. The truly talented members of the team were all men. (Except Lauren Zuke, but she’s trans now so yeah)
Based Pott always gets forgotten in these kinds of threads even though her show just got new episodes released recently. It's not fair.
It's all shit. Every last one of it.
Enjoy nothing. Hate everything.
This is the best cartoon currently airing
>SU
>made by woman
:^)
we really need to take the reins back
>Lauren Zuke
>talented
HAHAHAHAHAHA
This or the Tangled cartoon, but yeah, DCSHG is really, really good.
I really like She-Ra. Action sucks but I just really like the characters.
Star vs. peaked in season 2. I stopped watching halfway through through season 3. It felt aimless and didn't have much of a purpose.
Tuca and Bertie is alright. I'm only on Episode 3. It's just dumb fun and I can't really hate it as it knows what it is. I heard it hits the fan halfway through.
Haven't seen SU or DCSHG yet.
Despite all the red flags, I'm still looking forward to The Owl House even if that leak filled me with dread.
>you will never have sex with Zatanna on her childhood bed
Fuuuuuck
>watched and liked two
>heard good things about two
>havent seen or know much about two
Pretty good I guess, an average of average, which is what you'd expect. I haven't read the thread yet but I predict all-out autism outrage in full force.
The script/pitch bible leaks? Or are you just talking about the bs /ll/ rumor?
Lotta good solid shows
>SU
Tranny shit
>Svtfoe
Lost its soul after season 2
>she-ra
Tranny shit
>Bird show
Dunno, never watched
>Owl House
Gravity Falls ripoff with an even more cancerous studio cultural than what GF allegedly had
>My Little Superheroes
Good visuals, but otherwise just like all capeshit: brainlet tier black vs white writing
Pitch/Script leaks
I'd have to be a massive retard to believe the /ll/ rumors and practically braindead to believe the other rumors.
I like that show that shall not be named here.
What's causing you dread out of the script/pitch bible leaks? I haven't seen anything that's really surprised or disappointed me yet.
Rick and morty season 3?
I don't know what CN is doing with it, but it's not enough. SCI has filled a hole in my heart left by Clarence. These two shows effortlessly communicate themes that seem forced in Steven Universe.
People have been saying that it's just Gravity Falls, the leaker did imply that Star vs. was a more suitable comparison. I don't like Star vs. all that much. The lines he leaked sounded like something out of a teenager's first fanfiction and apparently some characters I'm looking forward to are probably going to suck (dark elf boy). I'm still going to watch it to see if it's legit or not, but I'm worried.
Forced how? SU and SCI/Clarence don't really share many themes beyond friendship n' shit. I've no opinion on those two but SU is easily one of the most genuine shows in this era of cartoons. For better or worse, warts and all it sticks to its guns.
SU is great, she-ra and star vs is ok. Have not watched the offers yet.
I'm endlessly confused by why are people hating the recent episodes of Star vs. I'm really not seeing the difference between s1 and s4.
They all follow the same pattern of treating the audience like they're retarded
No, they treat their audience like they are children because none of these shows are for adults. To be honest I'd be interested in seeing "adult comedy" written by a woman, the problem with kid cartoons is that every character needs to be "good" or "nice".
>SU and SCI/Clarence don't really share many themes beyond friendship n' shit
One major theme shared by all three is the forestalling of corruption of innocence. SCI and Clarence do so in an understated way, while SU is melodramatic. Which isn't necessarily a fault. I happen to like melodrama. But it's not as successful because-
>SU is easily one of the most genuine shows in this era of cartoons.
I never said it was disingenuous. But it preaches. It's a soap box show, and much of the events in the last season felt constructed, convenient, contrived. As a viewer I was very aware of the writers and their interventions. This might not be a problem for some, but to me it feels artless, even brutish, to be steered this way.
I liked Tuca and Bertie a lot more than I thought I would honestly.
Speckle is best boi, right after Big_Hairy_Stallion69
>She-Ra, and Summer Camp Island are kino
>She-Ra owns, fuck the haters
>My favorite by a wide margin is Summer Camp Island.
>I really like She-Ra. Action sucks but I just really like the characters.
>s1
>wacky zany Star unleashes mayhem on Earth because she has no concept of responsibility and appropriateness
>levelheaded and voice of reason Star resolves conflicts about racism on Mewni with nonviolence
Kill yourself metaphorically, then literally
>My Little Superheroes
youtu.be
youtu.be
does it feel the same to you? cause faust had nothing to do with it.
Calm down and have sex. It's just a kids show
Only SHG is good at all and it’s only like a 7.
damn, how do you got this picture of me?????
>SU
Started amazingly peaked at Jail Break, then crashed harder than the Hindenburg and is now a complete mess due to bad pacing, bad character motivations, and way too simple resolutions.
>Star Vs.
Started Meh became shit fast with it's need to focus on relationship drama that wasn't engaging.
>She-ra
Never watched it, visually it disgusted me and I never cared for he-man so I skipped it
>Bird Show
I only know this is something because of Yea Forums, never watched it.
>Owl house
Isn't even out yet, but then again I don't have any willingness to watch this either.
>MLP with DC superheroes
Only saw the short presented with the TTG movie, it was cute.
>SU
Had potential, got preachy and the anime inspiration bled through too heavily
>Star Vs.
Had potential and drove itself into the ground harder than I ever expected it could, comparable to adventure time
>She-Ra
Haven't watched
>Touca and Bertie
It's pretty god and does some interesting stuff with things like plant people, I'd watch a second season.
>Owl House
Cortugno's working on it so I'm dubious and inclined not to watch it.
>DCSHG
Love it, head and shoulders above the rest. Unlike the other shows the characters make mistakes, get punished for it, learn from their mistakes and support one another. A+
they are horrible, people give those people a pass because of the quotats, and all they have to offer is variation of hte SAME fucking teenage fanfiction they made with them as a self insert magical girl, their gay bff that actually wanted to bang them but never scored, and those evil ugly people that are their school bullies and teachers.
Never seen the bottom left one, like the other ones.
>tuca and bertie
>not for adults
You're right about everything else, though.
Left to right, top then bottom: started out great then turned to shit, started ut great then turned to shit, consistently mediocre, tried to be "girl Bojack" but ended up mediocre with a few genuinely funny moments, didn't watch it, didn't watch it.
This. Yea Forums isn’t even Yea Forumsmblr at this point it’s just tumblr
