Middle of the archway, left side, the tall lady with the red hair. I forget her name but her hair is a Venom-like Symbiote thing and she's /very/ good with poisons and the like. If you look real close you can see the Symbiote's eye staring at Allison.

I doubt it, more that the bodies of the gods inherently resemble statues due to being upright.

However, they definitely play into the theme of ridiculously excessive pride.
