I had another thing to add onto this, I feel like Ozai might have also held affection for Azula and contempt for Zuko because him and Azula ended up in the second born 'aka' NOT the rightful heir position. Taking his hostility out on Zuko might have been a cope for his anger that Iroh was firstborn and the rightful heir to the throne. Since he was eager as shit to become firelord as soon a lu ten died. Azulon probably did a the reverse to Iroh and Ozai as kids; only Iroh somehow managed to not become a sociopath like Azula but was still immensely talented and a great strategist and Ozai turned into a bad ending version of Zuko that had never gone through trials and tribulations that changed his world view.

She didn't hate Zuko. If anything she was jealous of him for being loved by their mother more. That seems to be the thing that bothered her the most. She thought her mother hated her and even imagined her in the finale which drove her crazy. She still loved her brother but wasn't able to shake off the jealousy and her autism kept her from working through it.
