During the second season, the producers for Legends had a great idea to bring in Adam West. Even if WB wouldn't let him be Batman again, he would have been an "unnamed" wealthy millionaire and former superhero from the 1960s. Sadly, he was already too I'll to work.

I'm more baffled by Batwoman being the Ant-Man.
Welling claimed he would appear on ARROW next season, and later said he was just making a joke because he had heard that ARROW had ended.
Either that's true, or he just spilled the beans too early and is doing damage control. Considering season 8 seems to be Oliver and Monitor's journey through the Multiverse, his appearance would actually make sense.
We'll have to wait and see.
