I actually don't want MJ and Peter to magically go back to being married just because of another event comic. It would be the same as Quesada and the other hacks at the time making Peter single because that was what they liked as a kid. I want Peter and MJ to be punished for working with the devil and I want them to get some big changes and character development from this event that aren't reneged on a year later. I also would want if Aunt May died for good but that's a pipe dream at best.

They will never restore the marriage.

Peter and MJ will be together (like they are now) but they will not marry them again. This way it is easier if they want them to separate for awhile in the future.
