Making aSupervillain for ms marvel kamala khan

"One type attracts another, similar type. Gods against Gods, patriots against people who think they're patriots, mutants against mutants. The kind of enemy you get tells someone a lot about the kind of person you are."

What about a giant shark guy who’s purple?

A villain who imbues Ms Marvel with a healing factor so he can solve world hunger.

When Kamala first appeared I thought her main arch nemesis would be the first villain she fought (whose name I can't remember because he was ultimately unimportant). But I eventually learned that Kamala isn't the type of hero to have an arch nemesis. Quirky Girl Heroes like Kamala only have joke villains that they easily subdue and defeat. Superheroism isnt a serious business in these kinds of books. It's more like a fun hobby. Sometimes you'll have a dramatic moment or two, but it's only a small breather between more quirkiness.

Ms. Moonstone: An alternate universe Kamala who became obsessed with Karla Sofen instead of Carol Danvers

Honestly this isn't necessarily bad provided it's kept in scale. Teen heroes who fight gimmick villains on weekends can be it's own niche. But you can't have a teen hero fight serious adult villains who kill people and do serious shit but then go off to math class after.

Plastic Man but if he was a hebe.

just make the villain the opposite of her. a mirror darkly etc

she's a young muslim woman with stretching powers
so the villain should be old jewish man with ... what is the opposite of stretching?

Contracting so... a shrinker maybe?

BuzzFeed Saw. With the power of Fake News...and Buzzsaws

>old jewish man with ... what is the opposite of stretching?
Ben Grimm?
Strong invulnerable villain sounds like a good idea actually.

Ship

ahem

invincible is infinitely better

i think there is 2 options

1. A prejudiced jewish superhero with tech powers who hates muslims because lets be honest they're all a bunch of imbred goatfucking hijabi whores

2. A muslim who's not a whitewashed americanized happy friendly "liberal" muzzie

Coat of Arms is probably the most frequent example that other people have brought up of a potentially good enemy for Kamala, being that she is a fan of Norman Osborn, a supervillain while Kamala is a fan of Carol Danvers, a superhero.

Alternatively, have Mystique go and rape her.

>evil bruno
>a tech villain that converts kamala's fanfict into perverted holograms (mysterio derivative)
>super rich stacy who hires random thugs to do her bidding. she commits crimes just to piss off kk. (kingpin derivative)

Did you also see that Superboy Prime/ Kamala creepy stuff?

Kamala vs Storyteller would be neat, she’d probably get on his case about rewriting stuff as being his bad fan fiction

um no. what about it? exact same stuff?

Basically Superboy Prime kidnaps Kamala and forces heroes from alternate universe to act it out, even the smut. It eventually led to Prime forcing Kamala to write rape and torture and also forcing her to watch as people act it out

heh

You literally just described the Teen Titans and Deathstroke.

a Jewish boy in her class has a huge crush on her and makes convoluted Crimes to steal things to impress her, Ms. Marvel always stops him and he’s like the only one who doesn’t know that it’s Kamala

Ms Marvel's archenemy doesn't need to have similar powers to her (just look at Superman and Lex Luthor), they just need to be thematically opposed to her in terms of personality and goals.
The question is: What are Ms. Marvels's themes?

Girl loves a loser, I guess.

She is naive, young, connected and idealistic.
Her powers are all about adaptability and kinda goofy, with a spacetime matter transfer bent.

Islamic militant inhumans.

Mystique should essentially be that one "OH SHIT, NOT HER!" villain whom Kamala fears having to fight whenever she's around.

In the Spider-Ham world, it would be Hss. Marvel.

Kamala's always about helping people and doing the right thing. So what about a villain who is someone she harmed? A person she failed to protect, or mistreated.

Maybe she has an off day. Maybe she prioritizes saving one person over another, or she goes to stop a fire and misses a robbery. Maybe she just lashes out at someone who ask for help and ignores him, I don't know why. But because of her actions/inaction, someone dies. And a relative of that person wants revenge.

Basically, the villain would represent Kamala's failings as a hero. Every fight between them would be her not only trying to stop him, but also her trying to redeem them and atone for her mistake. They'll always hate her, and she'll always feel bad for being the cause of their downfall.
