Growing up in Europoortopia I thought that, because Jewish characters were so prevalent in American media, they were something like 80% of the US population.
I've always found it interesting that jews created 99% of comic book characters, but never felt any need to overrepresent themselves in the medium. In fact, they've actually dramatically underrepresented themselves.
