So what would some of the modern Marvel heroes/villains like Deadpool, Kamala, etc. and the lesser famous ones who weren't in the story be like in this world?

Unfortunately, i haven't read it, Op, but on that note, is it worth a read?

Deadpool = Hideously mutated corpse found dead in a gutter after being duped in to undertaking illegal gene-splicing surgery in order to cure himself of cancer.

Kamala = Victim of gas attack by radical eugenics group calling themselves The Inhumans, with her limbs hideously stretched out and all her bones becoming incredibly brittle in the process. Wound up being euthanized by her father to spare her the agony.

only for shock value

>Deadpool
>not the doctor Jean Grey would take go to when she's pregnant baby Cable to have him perform the abortion, who's also a hideous burn victim,
You need to think modern, user.

Yes, it's the most nonsensical shit with genuinely good art and the worst ending ever seen in a modern comic.

Yep but not in a good way. It's a dark take on Marvels and is basically what edgy teenager me would've thought of as a realistic take on a Marvel world.

Deadpool's spot on and probably looks like Ruins Peter/Hulk but alive and Logan's drinking buddy.

2nd worst ending in a Marvel AU comic

is there a DC elseworlds take like this?

Nah, don't waste your time.

Fuck you i found the ending hilarious
>Kamala
Muslim extremist who stole the same tech that made stilt mans extendable arms to go on a rampage in a mall

Batman Dracula?

Kinda fun to think of drunken Warren Ellis taking the piss out of Marvel superheroes.

I mean the rest of the story was pointlessly edgy and mean-spirited (I hate using that phrase it's pretty spot-on here), I don't get why people are surprised it ended like that.

It was even darker than a fanfic a high school friend wrote later that was a dark Unbreakable take on X-men.

Wait no, changed my mind. Kamala also turned to illegal genetic modification through a cult calling themselves the Inhumans in order to be like her idol, government sponsored superhero Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel (who's really a violent drunk with crippling PTSD), who wound up being radicalized and detonating a terringenesis bomb in New Jersey in a terrorist attack.

As someone whos burnt out of the squeaky clean MCU super hero movies, i found reading ruins to be cathartic.

It can be done better, but it was pretty much shitty as a four-parter. Didn't overstay its welcome like Marvel Zombies, but it was a no brainer "Everyone but The Thing got fucked by fate".

I just noticed the child is a heteromorphic mutant

>that part where professor x was the president and had a jail for mutants that he made kingpin of all people the warden of and it was implied all the x-men were his illegitimate children because he tends to get super drunk when he visits the prison and is prone to whipping his dick out and screaming about it
this is an actual part in ruins for any of you newfags who haven't read it btw
