Would be impressive if it was given how shit awful the comic is. I kind of suspect the only reason anyone claims to be a fan of it is because they're gay and want to support the comic with the gay superhero protagonists out in front. Which isn't a very good reason to like a comic. Actual content is incredibly cringy. It's like every two seconds the writer has to try to convince you one of the characters is doing something really cool and badass. And all that obnoxious smug smiling from Midnighter. I get it, you're really hardcore and can beat everyone up.

I figure Midnighter needs to be built and real good at taking choreography but he also needs to be short.

I mean, in any sort of movie where the lead role's gimmick is being a guy who gets into a lot of fist fights, Scott's got the look and the skills down and has done exactly that in several movies already.

I'm not saying that, I'm saying for the same reason we always see ANY Spider-man actor with his mask off, they might cast Scott as the stunt double but not as the person who will have the mask off on screen.

I would cast a black man for midnighter and some latino for apollo
