Sluggy Freelance... what do you mean its still going?

I miss Lucid TV. Too bad the creator deleted it all.

>Zero posts about it since
Justin Brooks
Might as well be dead.
Joshua Collins
>OH FUCK THE ALT LEFT IS TRYING TO KILL ME
>OH FUCK THE ALT RIGHT IS TRYING TO KILL ME
Not even Christians have this much persecution complex
Jordan Long
Gee doc, I dunno how much of this enlightened centrism I can take. What if one side really IS correct on some issues, and the other side is correct on others?
Isaiah Diaz
I'm pretty sure Ishida is mentally ill at this point. A literal persecution complex.
John Parker
he's not centrist, he just thinks trans and sex workers are the enemy of the True Left
Joseph Perry
Paranatural when it was good.
Christopher Gomez
What was that one called quest comic, comic quest, etc like adventure time?
Chase Lopez
Post-reboot CAD feels like a totally different comic though. Different focus, different character dynamics. Still shitty, but different shitty.
Early CAD had a real innocence to it that the newer comics lack. A lot more of the humor was rooted in the "lol randum" trend of the early 2000s.
James Brooks
Did anyone hear from the author since?
Angel Sullivan
What the fuck made Zack go nuts
He goes by "them" now, like what the fuck
Christian Anderson
The site is gone so I had to fetch a picture from a tumblr archive. While looking through them, I kind of hated that some of them aged due to being actually real rather than the intended parody/satire.
Jack Allen
In retrospect the entire comic was probably a cry for help from the legitimately insane author, but I'll be damned if it wasn't also a work of genius.
Evan Reyes
Everyone's too noble to post their own old dead webcomic. Consider this post your freedom, your "hail mary pass,"
Xavier Cruz
Why? Because he made a few comics about the gender bullshit trannies push? Oh no, think of the hurt trannies feelings. It'll be hard for him to gender euphoria in his pantyhose tonight.
Ayden Martin
where have you been for the past however many years since Tats lost his mind
Joshua Anderson
Ansem Retort, but it ended because it had reached the end of it's natural life.
I want more Lesbian Mystery Club. I'd say I miss it, but it was dead when I found it.
James Martin
Bro... you clearly haven't read Sinfest. He went off the deep end by going full anti-male feminist. It went from a cute comedy into a full-on ALL MEN ARE TRASH political rant. The transgender thing is new, but he was totally nuts before.
Jonathan Lopez
Achewood. It was time for it to go, but it was always there to remind me that I'm not alone, but I'm also a ridiculous person and that is okay.
James Moore
I'm glad I wasn't part of the kickstarter.
Jeremiah Hill
Achewood is hard to get into, but holy hell is it worth it. I've never read anything else with the same kind of tone.
Samuel Miller
Jaxon Walker
so women can't dress sexily or modestly....?
Nathan Campbell
I actually planned on backing it but missed the deadline. It's a real shame what happened. It was a loss for everyone involved.
Thomas Reyes
>Favorite dead webcomic?
I still miss Poppy, even with how things got a little turbulent in the end.
Luis Gomez
Droop/Bee Power/Gunshow. Basically KC when he was good. Oh and Eegra. God damn that guy is crazy.
Did Doctor McNinja die too? I remember being amused by that when I found out about it ages ago.
Daniel Ward
is this based and redpilled?
Brandon Collins
Not a comic per say but he was one of my most favorite newgrounds creators. He's in his 40s now and has likely long forgot about these things he made.
I'm still waiting damnit.

You have a very good friend. Only my two best friends share my love of Achewood. Makes me feel warm inside to laugh at the same things as them.
Leo Ross
go back to /trash/ furry
Wyatt Taylor
Dead for over five years. Though it lost me during the reboot.
Second place goes to Pokemon X. It's not dead, but it's nine years behind on updates and updates maybe once a year.
Robert Rivera
Dr. McNinja didn't die, it finished.
I miss Under Power, Life of Riley, and Lethal Doses.
Ryder Gonzalez
a lesson is learned but the damage is irreversible
i think the site is broken or something, it wont load for me
Juan Turner
Those shirts are all awesome and I would wear any of them. Your friend knows what's up. I don't know much about Archwood other than stuff that gets reposted here on Yea Forums but it seems pretty neato.
Good to know. I'll look into rereading it.
Samuel Barnes
>a lesson is learned but the damage is irreversible
Shame. Thanks, user
Daniel Brooks
It's even funnier though because he actually won.
Lucas Nelson
HIS NAME IS LEGION,
FOR HE IS MANY.
YOU,
YOU ARE
BUT ONE.
Cameron Morales
Holy shit, I haven't thought about this comic in ages! I found it about when I was 12. I didn't think it was any good but read the entire thing because the girl gave me a boner.
Ryan Campbell
I've got the green Prime Time Records t-shirt. Looks dope and hides your power level.
Cameron Walker
UPDATE: Started reading it again. Crazy how different webcomics were back then. Really enjoying it so far, but I'm also pretty stoned right now. The girl still gives me a boner.
Hunter Butler
Yea Forums had a thread about hoodrat Trex kids called Darbi last year that didn't even last ten posts but I decided to check it out and I loved it but it hasn't updated in some time and I don't bother looking for updates because I'm too lazy. If anyone here follows the creator give me a heads up or something if some news comes out. Here's the comic if anyone else is interested m.webtoons.com

I hear you mate, I look at my kickstarter copies of book 1 and 2 and weep.
That said there is slight hope, he's posting comics on patreon. Probably gonna reboot chapter 3 again.
Wyatt Cox
Does this guy even know what he's arguing for anymore
Henry Sullivan
Nope.
Grayson Wright
I'm guessing something about trans-exclusionary feminists, but those are mostly women pissed at transwomen/men moving into their space
Grayson Scott
I want to live in Tatsuya's world, just for a day. I want to see what fried his brain
Adrian Morris
Why did that end, again?
Alexander Cruz
Last update was January of this year, but prior to that Sage Leaves had disappeared off the face of the planet forever and ever.
I really thought Blip was a novel premise.
Juan Perez
This joke was funny every time
Noah Brown
Ayden Harris
wait, what happened?
Aaron Brooks
People who sperg out over philosophy are pretentious faggots, but I wish people didn't associate Nietzsche with surrendering to nihilism as if that was ever his deal.
Carter Sullivan
this, dont know why he suddenly disappeared
Jason Lopez
Nah, this one is actually dead, as in she officially ended it.
Austin Gonzalez
good choice
Brandon Rogers
Gunnerkrigg Court
It's a shame it ended so weirdly
Austin Hall
Austin Williams
Gone with the Blastwave was gone too soon
Jace Sanchez
it is before he flip flops
Brayden Bell
something tells me we know nothing of this man
Parker Sanchez
The author didn't deliver the books that people had pledged for and later posted a rant about why capitalism is evil along with a video of themselves lighting the books on fire.
Logan Cook
2011 is when it started leaking into the comic. By 2013, everything was centered around his nascent radical feminism and shit took a hard left into permanent soapboxing. He eventually went full-on TERF and basically admitted he's only still going for the sake of a fractional audience that resonates with his personal politics.
I only know about this because I got bored and decided to look up the comic on TVTropes to see what happened after I stopped reading in 2010.
Leo Scott
There were a bunch of webcomics I first got into because they gave me a boner. It eventually paid off in a few cases, like Spinnerette has porn on patreon and Valkyrie Yuuki got nudity. SGVY is dead now though.
Michael Hernandez
Gunnerkrigg Court isn't dead though?
Grayson Martinez
Why is the doctor Morrissey?
Colton Lee
That is not a question.
Ian Garcia
Morbi decided he’d rather be a novelist than a comic book artist.
He sucked at being a novelist. No one wanted a furry webcomic to be purely written drama.
Carter Long
Please tell me someone on this site knows what this is
Stark Reality was a grim dark cyberpunk series about tiny self contained stories in a cyber punk world. There were nods to other stories, but no main character. It was very violent, and went from absurdly ow the edge, to kind of tongue in cheek. One story was about these punks who would kill these slave human store sign holders. One time the shop keeper ends up getting one of the punks, and turns him into a slave thing, the other punks come back to the shop and beat him to death.
Another story was about a guy running away from thugs trying to take his new shoes, and he runs into an even scarier group of like techno-priest looking thugs who ant his legs.
This is the series that shaped a lot of my tastes in different media, and I tried contacting the creator for archives of stark reality. Seems he doesn’t have any of that stuff anymore unfortunately.
Asher Scott
user, shit is still going, he just updates at a glacial pace
Luis King
my brother has a bunch of thos type of shirts anti social one and that nigga the most social person i know
William Reed
He's an aggressive terf
Matthew Phillips
Goats; it was one of the first webcomics I read from start to finish. His new series just doesn't do it for me.
Andrew Gutierrez
Didn't know that. I haven't read it in ages, but it was the best, what a shame.
Asher Diaz
Return to sender. Too bad it's not even online anymore.
Jonathan Diaz
Yes, it is.
Easton Morris
If the co threads are anything to go by, it's his girlfriend's influence. She has her own webcomic, so people were looking for all the ways in which it bled into Paranatural, both stylistic and thematically.
I never looked into it myself tho, so take it with a grain of salt.
Zachary King
That strip is a work of fucking art
Dominic Williams
Just because someone’s puppeteering the corpse doesn’t mean it’s not dead
Gavin Turner
>Alt Rite Aid
I giggled
Eli Phillips
This thread's making me cry.
Josiah Howard
I was fine with the novelization, and still check in every couple of weeks to see that it is still dead.
Leo Moore
What kind of comic was it?
Brayden Sanchez
Dresden Codak hasn't updated in over 3 months. Even for him, that's a long time. And for a while he'd been mentioning mental problems and other things making it harder and harder to put out a comic. It was getting less and less enjoyable to read, too, perhaps for the same reasons. (I actually hope the guy's okay.)
If it ain't dead, it's probably on life support.
Blake Sanders
Are his braindead followers still giving him donations regardless?
Austin Gray
Ah, intersectional infighting. Best enjoyed from a distance.
Aiden Nelson
I wonder how many just forgot.
Nathaniel Lee
Diaz should have realized he was better off with oneshots rather than a gigantic project like Dark Science. He almost had a Little Nemo/A Lesson is Learned thing going.
Tyler Johnson
doesn't patreon charge you with the full sum of your subscriptions all at once? you could conceivably forget you're even supporting someone and not think to cancel your subscription if you were only donating like five bucks a month and are supporting like forty other patreons for similar amounts
Hudson Wright
Isn't this Diaz guy some sort of tranhumanist objectivist that tries to get cred by talking shit about white cis people despite being white himself but is actually a huge skeevy pervert about his waifu OCs and also fucked himself when he called a famous comicbook dude something like a "another talentless white man" despite the guy actually being jewish?
Jaxon Cook
Yep. That guy.
Julian Anderson
Eh, losing both of his brothers (one being murdered) took a naturally huge toll on him, I don't think we're gonna see him again in any noteworthy capacity.
Christopher Johnson
He somehow managed to get radicalized by a second wave feminist, how I don't know. As a consequence he has to deal with external opposition to his beliefs and clashes with third wave feminism. His radical views underpin a paranoid delusion that the patriarchy has to be behind everything, so he can't accept women fucked themselves up. Hence thinking third wave is a secret patriarchy conspiracy.
James Turner
cool world where tatsuya lives, where transexuals are accepted by the powers that be
Nathan Thompson
>for me its K6BD
ABADDON GET TO WORK YOU LAZY FUCK, I KNOW YOU ARE BROWZING THIS SHITHOLE
Logan Hughes
his punchlines aren't bad he's just WORDS
Brandon Green
>less than two weeks ago
Calm your fucking tits, user.
Kevin Sanders

David Fisher
Or else?!
Abby, I understand that you had married recently - you are busy guy, but you can not hook someone up with tornament chapter and then slack off! Ypu cant do that!
Liam Johnson
>you know like in that movie
what's the movie is he referencing?
Christopher Perry
Can you imagine is he did?
Like he’s clearly not right but imagine if he flipped full incel overnight. Nobody would notice for about a week.
Jordan Smith
Silence of the Lambs
Jaxson Martinez
should of known he turn out to a be terf
no big loss there.
Julian Nelson
Supernatural comedy more or less. New house, haunted mailbox, weird people, monsters, quirky female friend. It's a shame it's not available anymore. It was a good read.
Adrian Lopez
Eh, Jews are like double whites.
Jordan Jackson
Double, you say? Well, how about we shake hands at triple?
Isaiah Adams
What about celebrities, media, billionaires, and the government?
Jaxon Morales
I only knew about the one that was murdered, what happened with the other?
Caleb Hernandez
Still hoping Lovesyck comes back some day. Author's new comic is good, but the aesthetic of the old one seemed more unique.
Isaac Phillips
Is that like a double nigger?
Caleb Ortiz
Hey faggots, it's a dead webcomics thread, not a webcomics you don't like thread.
Chase Reed
Which of those were not thought to be dead?
Brandon Howard
Again, webcomics you don't like are not dead webcomics.
Jose Diaz
I miss Hatefarm, shame they quit it so they could work on that shitty Thanksgiving movie.
Juan Torres
Because the moment you give someone "non-binary" an inch, they take a mile.
Luke Sanders
Haven't seen it in over a decade
Eli Adams
Bad Machinery.
Liam Campbell
>less enjoyable
The guy made two funny comics. One was "caveman science" the other was the one dealing with the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle.
Camden Hall
>the government
Leo Davis
Everyone is wrong except him and extremely radical feminists that literally want to kill all men. He personally is the 1 good one, and all other male "allies" are hidden predators.
Aiden Cruz
That last panel would actually work if there were no words.
Daniel Anderson
Max Overacts
Jayden Bennett
That reminds me about bloodmajiq; I loved the black and white style of it. It's funny how you can see elements of it in IRO, he definitely has themes he likes.
Cooper Harris
Probably either Roadwaffles or Mine's Bigger!!. One of my greatest life achievements was saving their entire archives on my comp before they went under. Still read them sometimes.
Brandon White
>Bibles AND guns
Jace Baker
It wasnt good, in fact it was horrendously shitty with weird political commentary. But, goddamnit I loved it as a little autistic kid.
Josiah Rogers
I literally forget this was once good.
Jacob Clark
Might I add it's only on the way back machine now
Brandon White
Some of them are dead tho.
Anthony Evans
>Sinfest - still ongoing
>CAD - still ongoing
>Paranatural - still ongoing
>Dresden Codak - still ongoing if at a glacial pace
No they're not faggot
Landon Reed
Maybe just have the guy point at an MCU poster.
Angel White
Heard of it before, never have actually read any of it unfortunately.
Christopher Bailey
8-bit theatre actually ended.
With a real ending.
Colton Butler
It's weird. I'll read a webcomic that will make me chuckle sometimes but this is the first time in a LONG time that one made me smile like a fucking idiot.
Luis Parker
>Alt Rite Aid
May be the first time that Sinfest got a chuckle out of me in a decade.
