He's a lazy asshole that's comfortable with his station, however disgusting it may be. Ultimately he's still got a kinda-hot girlfriend, is still considered the "cool" guy in his friend group, still doesn't really have to pay for anything. So he does what he can to maintain that status quo because it benefits him. He's got a bit more of a conscience than WWJ, but not by much.

I doubt this was intentional, but Mogg to me is a twist on the stereotypical image of the NEET as an /r9k/-browsing neckbeard. By all accounts, Mogg was one of the cool, athletic "Chads" in high school, but he ends up being just as maladjusted and dead inside as any of those "blackpill" twats (he gloats about being on the dole as well, I recall). It's almost like a subversion of this idea that being superficially charming/handsome and being able to get with girls is enough to coast through life on.

My point was that she's comparatively goodhearted relative to the others, as she is at least capable of being a good person more consistently. Think of it being quantified on a gradient, like how everyone in "It's Always Sunny" is chaotic evil but Charlie leans towards merely being chaotic neutral. Her being transsexual is incidental to her being less malevolent
