Cartoon Network all the way.

A bang bang kid

This plus the other two. God I was fucking spoiled for choice as a kid.

Nickelodeon when I was tiny but very quickly I switched to Cartoon Network which seemed more dangerous and adult.

Was a PBS kid cause we couldnt afford cable so Nick Disney and CN was off the table. When we finally did get cable it was in the dexters lab, rugrats era

This wasn't on Nickelodeon

I watched cartoon anywhere I could growing up, cartoonnetwork, Nick, Mtv, Comedy central, Fox. I use to watch The Critic and Duckman late at night when I was supposed to be asleep.

It certainly convinced me to change the channel over to Nick whenever it was on, that's for sure.

>muh sacred cow

Earlier half was a nick kid, past 11 was a CN kid

CN had better cartoons AND Toonami. Nick just had gross out garbage.

I was a CN and Disney Channel kid because it's what the cable company I had for the longest time had. Nick was on my school friend's cable so I got to watch it at his house. Always felt like a "greener on the other side" situation.

On both.
CN had everything, Old School, Next Generation, Capekino, & Anime. Plus fantastic bumpers and Promos.

Nick Had Old School and Next generation Cartoons and Live action shows. Plus had a foreign shows and creative bumpers on Nicktoons. Plus great holiday themes.

Not to mention the Friday Night Premier Wars was awesome for both. Other than these I was on PBS Kids.

>1999
>being a big wallet nigga

CN was pretty much 99% ancient Hanna-Barbera shit and the dreaded Tex Avery Show, by the time they had a decent cycle of original cartoons I was too old for most of them and only really watching for Toonami when it came out.

Disney Channel was meh, pretty much all the good Disney-related cartoons aired on other channels in the morning anyway.

Nick had the strongest variation back in the 90s-early 00s until that annoying little Rocko-rip offing shit sponge ruined everything.

Attached: CN 90s.jpg (2000x1000, 536K)

You fucking faggot. Most of those shows started in 1997 & 1999. Still the 90s dumbass. And where still on their air in the 00s.

While I had both for most of my youth I always prefered CN, Ed Edd n Eddy was a big reason another was Megas XLR.

That and as a kid I fucking hated Spongebob totally not because I shared name with the biggest retard on the show and found most other Nick shows to be meh, execpt for Aaaa real monsters, that was some good stuff back then

Firmly a nickelodeon kid. I watched a lot of tv and 90% of the time it would be nick. Probably because I had a weird thing about preferring cartoons to live action, my cable didn’t get cartoon network for most of my childhood, and nick was the next best channel for playing cartoons most of the time. Looking back, I watched way too many reruns of shows I don’t think I even especially liked just because they were cartoons and they were on nick. Sometimes if nick was playing something other than a cartoon, I would flip over and check disney channel. If that didn’t work and there was really nothing on, I would watch nature documentaries.

Strangely, I got really embarrassed of how much I watched cartoons starting at a very young age, and I got into a habit of changing the channel to discovery or animal planet whenever my parents walked into the room, and I kept the volume down low so no one would hear me watching cartoons either.

I think I was a really dumb and small minded kid.

YTV and Teletoon.

this and wb kids

Both really, although I watched more of Nick back in the 90s since CN didn't have it's own IPs or anything that interesting until the late 90s.

Nick

>hating on Tex Avery
Shit taste

Nickelodeon until Cartoon Network started playing anime, then Cartoon Network

Zoom Zoom.

Nick kid by day
CN kid by night

My parents didn't like CN because it was too crass for them. Everytime I watch CN it feels like I was watching porn. Whenever they enter the room I quickly switch it to Nick or Disney.

I was a nick kid for the most part. Not just for it’s cartoons but it also had funny live action series like kenan & kel, all that, double dare, slime time, and the Amanda show, I wasn’t into Cartoon Network until shows like power puff girls, samurai jack and Ben 10 came on. Disney channel always bored me to death with their teen associated teen crap. And Fox Kids was my favorite Saturday morning block to go to, until 4kids ruined it.

This. Nick was so risque in comparison I had to hide it until I was like 10.

Cartoon Network turned into a prime channel around 2000 and Nickelodeon didn't debut until 2002 from where I come from, so it really only watched Fox Kids & Jetix regularly.

Attached: the_best_channel.png (891x393, 161K)

I watched more Nick shows but watched Johnny Bravo, Ed Edd and Eddy, and Evil Con Carne a lot. They were one channel away from one another on my cable.
I also used to watch the kids CW block on saturdays lol

>Never really grew up with them
>Not even Disney due to Catholic parents
>Turning 20 in a few months
>Finally starting what I should had done at my childhood.

You sound gay and under15.

The late 90s I was a nick kid but through the early 2000s, I was a CN kid.

I watched CN the most, imho they had the most consistent level of quality of the 3, but i will say when a Nicktoon was good it was fucking excellent. didn’t really care for any of the Disney shows except for KP and Dave the Barbarian.

Kim Possible and Recess were the greatest Disney shows of that era imo.
I liked both CN and Nick but Nick had a lot more variety with two SNL-styled shows that were decent, a horror-anthology show that rivaled goosebumps, game shows, etc.

Fair enough, but personally for me it felt like for every one good Nicktoon there was one meh and one terrible alongside it, whereas CN it felt more like for every two good shows there was two meh and one bad amongst them. Then again the last kid’s Yea Forums show I was really into was Flapjack, so peak viewing for me was 1996ish-2008.

I will say my all time favorite Yea Forums show is Rockos Modern Life so Nick will always get huge props for me for that show.

Same here user. Thing is I lived without cable from ages 3-5 and lord knows I watched the SHIT out of PBS until then.

Cartoon Network?

I watched a lot more CN, but Nick had far better live action shows.

born in 85. Nick until 1998 or so, then CN when I got into the cartoon cartoons, space ghost, and toonami. Spongebob was gay to 14 year old me and that turned me off Nick for good

Attached: TV.png (1005x572, 872K)

I watched everything EXCEPT Disney.

the right panel is absolutely early to mid 2000's Boomerang (but thankfully no Tex Avery reruns)

WWoTA was bloody diarrhea on Tex's grave.

>not watch all cartoon channels and having a disdain for the live action segments

Attached: HonorableCheeryFattaileddunnart-max-1mb.gif (320x180, 830K)

I switched back and forth.

Before we got direct TV I watch PBS kids on channel 10,Fox Kids and cartoons that aired on channel 24 in the 90s.When we got Direct TV in summer 2002 I watched Cartoon Network, Boomerang,Nick and Disney.

I got a question, back it the 90s did Kids WB aired on regular TV or cable?I been trying to find that channel back then.

Where are all my fellow anons... who were left in dust when it came to premium television and grew up on a steady staple of extremely low budget canadian imports/free-2-air television?

Attached: old pop logo.jpg (474x193, 8K)

>BREAKING NEWS: Anons are shocked that another user has different opinions than them.

I was a Nick kid until I went to my grandma's house (R.I.P.) to find out about CN. My jaw was floored to the unveiling of so many shows I've never seen. Ever since I watched CN more than Nick but tuned in to watch shows like Drake and Josh, All That, and Spongebob. Good times.

There's nothing wrong with the right side. Add some Space Ghost and Toonami and you have a perfect lineup IMO

I never cared what network anything was on. Who needs that kind of headache?

>not having all of their schedules memorized so you could switch around and watch all of your favorites

This
>fox Kids was good
>jetix was even better
>at some point someone in charge of basic 20 channel pack decided to change my jetix to jetix play
>a channel for 4 year old kids which had a FUCKING 2 HOUR PAUSE SO LITTLE SHITS COULD GET THEIR DOSE OF SLEEP
>spend more and more time on Discovery, NG animal planet
Fuck you too unknown state official

I was a pbs kid because cartoon network didn't exist yet and we were too poor for cable so no Nickelodeon either.

I like Cartoon Network for the cartoons and Nickelodeon for the game shows andl ive action stuff (I liked "Are You Afraid of The Dark?" better than Goosebumps, for instance). I also watched a lot of Fox Kids and Kids WB too, but Cartoon Network was my usual "Go to" channel for cartoons.

I actually didn't like Nick's cartoons much. I actively hated Rocket Power, Wild Thornberries, and Rugrat; I thought all 3 were boring and lame. SpongeBob and Hey Arnold didn't do much for me either, my friends liked them but I just couldn't get into it, even though we watched that a lot at my friends houses, except that one episode where Arnold gets forced to wear a bunny suit and humiliate himself, that one was legit funny as hell, I loved that one, even though I only saw it once. And I wasn't allowed to watch Ren and Stimpy because my dad said it was "Gross and fruity" as he put it, although I could watch all the "2 Stupid Dogs" I wanted, so mixed messages there, dad.

But, yeah, I loved Nickelodeon's live action stuff, couldn't stand their cartoons.

>And I wasn't allowed to watch Ren and Stimpy because my dad said it was "Gross and fruity" as he put it
Well to be fair it was.

I probably won't ever getva chance to ask this again but I used to watch kids WB all the time when I was little but one day it just dissapeared. Like I remember watching a rerun of that Pokémon episode where Togepi gets lost with a houndoom and then it just randomly cut to the news and after that kids WB never aired again

>Having to switch between channels during commercial or low points when two of your favorite shows are on at the same time

What a time to be alive

This
I remember Jetix? also, Toon disney, that one Canadian thing, Fox kids, and that public access shit.

Attached: 1519844071797.png (640x480, 242K)

Disney was for the kids with way overprotective parents who don’t like fun.

I bounced back and forth between Nick, Disney, CN and PBS because I was weird like that. I eventually settled with CN.

Cartoon network all the way 90s cn was/is better than 90s nick. 90s disney lol.

You should just kill yourself because thats what your entire generation should do. You and everyone under the age of 25.

Cartoon network had no live action until the mid 2000s. Unless you count space ghost. The day cartoon network started focusing on live action is the day it died.

speaking only for tacoland
cartoon network was better UNTIL the went into their "we do what we want to" phase. The entire channel went to hell. Nickelodeon still had good cartoons at the time but thats literally the only time they were better than cartoon network.

I was a CN chad

>everyone under the age of 25
>not everyone under the age of 18
What is your problem with people younger than you? He can post on this site because he himself is over the age of 18.
I'm 28 and I don't shit on people who are younger than me.

He’s probably bitter he got molested

Anyone remember O Canada on Cartoon Network? They would show short Canadian films?

Disneykids were the ones nickkids and CNkids put aside their differences to pick on together.

CN punched so far above its weight-class. Yeah 75% of the line-up til 97 or 98 was reruns and even toonami was hand-me-downs, but even then what they chose to air outside of HB reruns was generally so much more interesting that other network's fare.

I mean check this out, vampire Hunter D, Robot carnival, and Twilight of the Cockroaches in 95.

>missed out on Kids WB because I thought Cartoon Network was the only place for Warner shows

cartoon network

nick, but only because we didn't get CN in my house until I was around 11. the second we got that (and more importantly boomerang) I switched to them and never looked back.

Me? Is that you?

Local cable provider didn't have either network, so it was YTV for me

>Mostly watched Nick because older sisters wanted the live action shows
>CN still played a big part, never forget June Movies
>Disney was mostly regulated to 1 Staturday Morning for me
Add in the Playstation and Sega Saturn and my childhood was great; youtube.com/watch?v=atHUYWL1eIU

Both with some boomerang thrown in
