Great, but the first was better.

Fun but I felt like audiences were burnt out on them by the time LEGO Ninjago came out

Average and forgettable.

I great but just not as AWESOME as the first one. Personally I just couldn't connect with it as much since I grew up on Fallout and Mad Max so Apocalypseberg was right up my alley to begin with.

Ninjago is a total mistake.

If they didn't milk these movies so much, it probably would've have a chance.

I agree but the first was only better by a small margin. If they'd just spared a little more screen time for the side characters and antagonists it would be just as good as the first.

First was a solid 8, the sequel was maybe a six. It was nowhere near as good.

It's really more like that the first was better by a small margin... in every category. Characters were handled a small bit worse, the Lego implementation was a small bit less creative, the cinematography was a small bit more boring, etc etc. So there's no BIG flaws, but there's hardly anyone that will prefer it over the first.

The ending of the previous movie pretty much spoiled what the 2nd was about. also there seemed to be a lot less visual puns, then they threw in that tacked-on time travel trope which felt entirely lazy

they knew what worked in the first one and did it again, but ever so slightly worse
songs were all pretty darn good tho

Mostly okay. Spread themselves too thin on side characters. Got a little bit too clever for their own good with the meta plot. Had a handful of embarrassingly outdated jokes.

Mom and Banarnar were the worst part of the movie.

Like the first one it's not a bad movie, but holy crap it's not for me.
Specifically the humor does not click for me, but I admire the hell out of it for the animation.

Also sweet sets and they still have unironically the best Batman in movies atm.
