There was actually an editorial edict in place when Harras was editor in chief to forget Ahura and never mention him, which is why he wasn't in the Marvel Knights Inhumans series. Did this edict last after Harras was gone, or did it just last long enough for writers to not research back far enough to learn Ahura existed?

Really? Why? Did he dislike Atlantis rising that much? From I can tell he came on during that event and that was the last time Ahura was seen until Silent war over a decade later.

IIRC, felt that Ahura was another Franklin Richards type child with vast cosmic power, and one of them was enough. He was promoted to EIC towards the end of 1995, so wouldn't have been involved with Atlantis Rising, which came earlier in the year.
