But none of that compares to fucking Alex Hirsch because Disney is desperate to get their hands on the new Gravity Falls, which Owl House clearly looks like it's just trying to mimic in every aspect.

Hirsch is fucking based. He's done nothing but criticize Disney basically ever since Gravity Falls ended (and even before that) and meanwhile Disney just bends the fuck over at every turn.

First they gave him the journals, then the DVD set (basically never happens for Disney shows), then the graphic novel and now Gravity Falls alumni are basically treated like royalty and allowed an unprecedented amount of freedom and creative control at Disney TVA. Even S&P is no longer treated as the word of God. Who would've thought one man could cause such a massive culture shift at a studio?

Let's be real. Disney quietly fired Hirsch (or at least were probably trying to demote him for being such a lazy faggot and he rage quit) and have just been scrambling to find a replacement since. Hirsch has been pretty much a drifter ever since he lost his top tier position on Disney's biggest hit cartoon since Kim Possible. You'd think one of the other big networks would snatch him up too but I guess he's too much of a locker room cancer to bother with.

Plus, any time there is a hit show, its staff members break off like polyps and are given carte blanche to do their own thing. Happened with Spongebob, The Simpsons, Fairly Oddparents, Flapjack (which is where the manlet and AT fat guy came from), and so on. Though Dana was pretty much a low level storyboarder for most of Gravity Falls until she spread her legs to the midget after which she gets treated like it's co-creator at cons and fuck drumpf charity streams...
