Why would today's young children be any different from previous generations? They aren't old enough to be sick of anything yet, they don't know what's "outdated", everything's new to them. I enjoyed watching Looney Tunes as a kid and I had no idea it was made decades before I was born.

I decided to look for the redesign since I haven't seen it yet and nobody actually posted it. It's fine. It's not nearly as impressive as the original sure, but it's far from bad.

When that shitty Thundercats reboot (which I'm not even sure is still being made anymore) came out because not only did it look ugly as sin but seemingly missed the whole purpose of the franchise, being an action series. The hate was valid because it turned a franchise into a joke, and an ugly one at that.

Chip and Dale was always comedy focused, even in Rescue Rangers where it had more action focused plots. Making them into a simplified cartoony style isn't as much of a sin, not to mention the design themselves while nothing special is also not bad looking either.
