bump
meh.
it's not a very high bar to pass
I especially like the flat colors, reminds me of silver age comics.
That's an odd way of saying something is revolting NPC trash.
I'm sorry you are too much of a brainlet to recognize modern kino on your own instead of waiting to be told what classics and masterpieces are.
It was mediocre but the art got slightly better once Henderson left.
The thing that gets me is that this didn't get cancelled but the writer just got tired of it and decided to be done.
>quirky Hitchhiker's Guide style humor
I'll pass
>modern kino
Why do you talk like a retard?
Wait, that's not Henderson? Not wonder the art looks slightly more tolerable.
>It was mediocre but the art got slightly better once Henderson left.
Is this supposed to be the "better" art?
>The thing that gets me is that this didn't get cancelled but the writer just got tired of it and decided to be done.
Henderson's art was always the most obvious problem with UBS, but not the main one.
Ryan North's work on Squirrel Girl was obnoxiously bad and smugly self-satisfied from the very start. He hand-picked Henderson for the work because her art perfectly matched the mediocre writing.
Henderson's work on other books like Jughead and Adventure Time is better. Everything else Ryan North has done has the same stink as this.
>Wait, that's not Henderson?
Derek Charm. The artist that took over Jughead when EH left and also worked on the Adv. Time comic. Absolutely 100% wearing glasses with a nose and mustache.
>Absolutely 100% wearing glasses with a nose and mustache.
Did I forget my *not*?
I totally forgot my *not*.
Pretend I wrote '100% *NOT*' up there instead.
t. Ryan "I can only write in webcomic style" North
That's an insult to Douglas Adams
>He hand-picked Henderson for the work because her art perfectly matched the mediocre writing.
Sure it wasn't because of her gigantic milkers?
Every other month one of the twenty people reading squirrel girl makes a thread here specifically to trigger other people that hate squirrel girl, and it works every fucking time.
heat death of the thread says otherwise.
the truth is Squirrel Girl haters no longer exist.
they hated her when she was a Slott meme.
they hated her when she became a Bendis meme.
they hated her when Henderson started drawing her.
then they cast the AT&T girl to play live action Squirrel Girl.
then they made her an Marvel Rising member.
then Henderson quit. then North quit. the haters celebrated and moved on to hating Carol Danvers and Naomi.
Squirrel Girl has peaked.
there's nothing but indifference from this point moving forward.
This couldn't aspire to be Hichhiker's Guide in humor if you took fifty issues and compressed all the cleverness into a single page.
This is moist garbage on a summer day.
boy i really like that webcomic tier artwork. its nice to know that artists dont really have to work that hard to get by in the industry. people like clay mann and gary frank are just suckers who work too hard.
>Squirrel Girl fanart is a refreshing break from the rest of the schlock SG comics Marvel is putting out nowadays.
Fixed
isnt sg canonically autistic or something?
The extra commentary running under every other panel is really annoying.
i agree wither put in a caption box or make it a thought balloon
