A few days ago a started Story timing Wally's Flash run because most people consider it the best the flash has to offer on top of the announcement that he is getting a solo for the first time in many years.
Part 1
Today I am continuing it by looking at the first year of Wally being THE FLASH after spending his youth as kid flash

We start with Wally after Crisis on Infinite Earths. Barry, Wally's mentor and the flash before him just gave up his life to save the Universe. Wally, a much less experienced Speedster has taken up the mantle as THE FLASH. Wally is not only less experienced but also far slower than Barry was.

I love this story. There was even a Young Justice episode based off of this. It's interesting to see Wally's brain processioning the events around him at a slower speed than his body can actually move
