Because Spider-Man is not an idiot and is also not above calling for help when he needs it, and when it comes down to that, they'll just gang up and run a train on Nygma and kick his shit inside out.

Trying to fuck around in New York City like he does in Gotham will just get him killed eventually, the whole place is crawling with superheroes with powers worth a damn.

Meant more of him getting over confident because a lot of villains don't see the smart side of spider-man so Nigma will probably just gloat and think very little of spidey before he surprises him and just exceeds nigma's expectations

Dude, not. Lex, Grodd, Sinestro are full villains now. Proudly so. and Slade is not an anti hero. Not in the slightest. He is a protagonist, but not an anti-hero.

I'd still argue that Sinestro has ALWAYS been a villain but where the fuck was Grodd a good guy outside of some dumb 'bad guys and good guys have to team up to stop a bigger threat' thing?

Also Nigma can't just do what he did in gotham whilst in New York, too many big players, he would have to ally with someone like Arcade or work under Kingpin but i can't see Nigma doing that and staying there for long so eventually he'll just meet Frank Castle and die.

BUT...as a kid i never liked Marvel that much because it always seemed like the heroes were fighting each other.
plus DC being for younger people meant they had to write villains who basically used tricks instead of just two characters punching each other
of course that isn't true now...and probably wasn't even that true when i was a kid (its just what i noticed)

DC has some of the pettiest villains that are borderline gay for their enemies.

And I fucking love it.

DC has better villains because they keep the villains evil. It seems like every villain in Marvel (Except for Red Skull and Green Goblin) are turned into anti-heroes or become fodder for heroes to beat in two-pages.
