That's right, it's Dan Slott's divisive series that put Otto Octavius' mind in Peter Parker's body. What kind of wacky hijinks will Otto get up to? Will Peter ever get his body back? Is midget pussy better than regular pussy? All of these questions and more will be answered in: The Superior Spider-Man!
SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN STORYTIME
Otto deserves what's coming to him for treating a midge like a person.
this is a
PSA: if you haven't read Superior Foes of Spider-Man go do so asap, it's fantastic.
dun dun dun!
ah yes, spidey's famous catchphrase, "crazy town banana pants"
This run's only redeeming moment is that one page.
It just went on to long, it’s idea is alright but what made it insulting is how no one had the slightest clue. If it was just a six issue arc it’d be fine but going on for over 2 years was to much
Thanks OP, i would have taken Avenging Spider-Man but i don't mind this either.
You just described most of Slott's run.
man, I love this costume. His later one doesn't quite do it for me.
there she is, the superior spider waifu.
Thing was this was the beginning of the end of slott being “good” everything after superior just got worse and worse. It’s like he got mad at the fan base for hating superior while normies liked then spent the last (fuck was it 4?) years on the titles pissing on whatever he could, assassinating bens character giving how for resurrections that he reneged on posing the Loki plot line away on a boring one shot then finally killing flash.
>finally killing flash
I'd almost forgotten that, thanks.
next thread coming shortly
Part 2:
I think if he left after Superior was done, people could've debated about whether his run was good. But he stayed on for four or so more years and it went from bad to complete shit. He did have that one story that was pretty good at the end though, the one in ASM #801. But it wasn't worth going through so many awful stories and ideas he had just to get there.
It became obvious he was just holding out to write 800 after they finished up spider verse
>hitler and the Marvel logo
I can't entirely hate Slott
>falling in love with her all over again
so many cathartic moments
