A lot of people who are into the DDLG stuff are into Paw Patrol for some reason.

Because the main characters are first responders and it paints police officers in a positive light and makes the, out to be neighborhood heroes .

My niece loves the show, so i catch an episode now and then with her. Its funny to see how all the boy dogs want to fuck Sky, but she doesnt give any of them any attention.

Also Sky is OP as fuck. Nerf that flying bitch. She gets to help on every job because she can fucking fly. Alot of the other dogs get left out because their skillset doesnt work for the problem of the day. But Skys flying is ALWAYS useful so shes always there.

It's pretty mindless and only exists to sell stuff (hence its being associated with the Right), but some of the character designs are cute even though the actual animation leaves something to be desired.

The actual stories are very formulaic so that the pre-school demographic can easily follow them. Most of the show's adult fan-base are people who take the core premise - talking dogs fulfill civic service roles and take it in their own direction - also the shippers, of course... *shudder*

She gets to help because she's the female lead.
The show is made for max exposure in the Third World where having a lot of female leads is frowned upon.
As a result, the show tries to split the difference by using the few they have as often as possible.
The result is that this one character is everywhere.
Inb4 muh anti-feminism, she's no more or less dull than anyone else. It's an incredibly dull, stupid, condescending series all around, basically today's Barney.

Sky is also there to appeal to girl viewers for maximum merchandise sales. Paw Patrol (and PJ Mask) might be the only preschool show that appeals equally to boys and girls. Usually these show are heavily screwed to appeal to only gender. So in this case, you have both boys and girls wearing Paw Patrol stuff. And all I see are kids wearing this. It’s insane. And I know someone who works at a dollar tree who says the only thing kids want to buy is Paw Patrol.

The mayor should look her fucking chicken in a pen, stupid thing keeps getting into trouble and the pups gotta bail it out, how much has that damn thing cost the tax payers!

I wonder if there's a paw patrol on other parts of the world they live in. Or is there paw patrol like system for the mature dogs since the ones on the show are just puppies. Like if a earthquake or hurricane damaged a city would they call on the older paw patrol.

On the show they often visit other countries and there are other Paw Patrol puppies that come and help them. I know that there is at least a south american paw patrol unit and an Alaskan one with a husky as well.

According to the paw patrol wiki, Skye is actually one of the less used pups though she was more prevalent in early seasons - mainly due to Rocky and Zuma being used very little and Tracker and Everest not being introduced.

Another potential factor might be that, being voiced by a girl, Skye's kept the same VA for most of the series run - something that can't be said for any of the other pups except maybe Rubble...
