Whoa wait season 7 has a bluray?
yeah it got released very recently
So dean cucked his bro right? That relationship plotline was so pointless.
Buy the blu ray, support the show.
I've been listening to the commentary, good shit.
>That relationship plotline was so pointless.
I mean, it happened at the very end of season 7, and we don't have season 8 yet... Pretty early to call it pointless.
>pointless
>is the inciting incident to what will most likely be major character arcs for Hank and Dean
Nigha you dumb
>pointless
youre fucking thick, you know that mate?
Damn, those commentaries are about as entertaining as the show itself, I'll have to actually buy the blu ray now.
Is Hank going to find his mom? What else will he find if he does? Goddamn I can't wait for the new season.
Secret President!
>Is Hank going to find his mom?
Not on his own he won't. He probably won't even make it 10 blocks before Hatred of Brock finds him.
>denying Hanks madmanity
Secret President is a character I truly hope we see before the show's end. Right up there with Manta Claus and the Zookreeper.
I wish I could but they don't sell it anywhere where I live, and I don't have anything to play any discs on anyway. Also I'm poor atm lol
>commentary and bonus features not included
>I've been listening to the commentary
So which is it?
they weren't included in the rip, doofus.
Hank is going to be Brock-lite by the time this is over
Oops, overlooked that part.
You could at least have posted the magnet or a folder.
That's not the magnet.
Maybe you guys could actually buy the DVD of a show that you like and is constantly struggling to stay greenlit

I would but it's not available in my country and I don't (and won't) have anything to play it on, I got the artbook and last year's shirt club though and I'll buy the dvds when I have some disposable income just to have them on a shelf
Is anyone kinda tired of all the heavy Guild/OSI plotlines? The fact that the seasons are now shorter doesn’t really help either. It feels like the show is really trying to cram too much stuff in. Seasons 1-5 had much better pacing imo.
Thanks. I've yet to find a public tracker I trust enough to actually visit, after KAT died.

>2.1 GB/episode
Jesus fuck, why are there so many tards amongst the rippers of western shows. I'm not a sizewhiner by any means but unless there's like 5 different audiotracks in FLACebo, there's no good reason those 22 minute episodes should be above ~1 GB each.
Sure, as soon as it gets an official release in my part of the world. I'm not paying triple to import DVDs I'll never actually unwrap.
They dropped the biggest bombs, though. Rusty being a clone and also being related somehow to the Monarch were pretty huge.
there's also this in 720p but not too many seeds and still no commentary

its forming the rift between the brothers giving them each a reason to go good/evil. The question is which one goes which way. Hank has had his villian alter ego for awhile but he's too much of a brock fanboy to really go full evil and dean isn't really the aggressive type he needs a push to really put him over the edge
Oh, that really wasn't necessary.
I wasn't bitching about the filesizes as such, it was the amateurish encoding I was being grumpy about.
Yeah I thought the Blue Morpho storyline and the ep where they go back to the Venture plotline was pretty good. But idk all the Guild lore and plotlines are becoming stale. Like that love triangle between the Guild agent and OSI soldier seemed pointless and didn’t go anywhere really. I kinda missed it when the show was more Monarch and co/Venture family and friends shenanigans.
I've been saying it for years. Dean is going to go "villain" because the Guild is nothing but bylaws, rules and footnotes. He'll also do this so he can be the antagonist to Hank's protagonist to give his brother the wins he desperately needs.
plots not going anywhere is kind of their thing and chances are they will be picked up in later seasons
Who's your favorite background character? Mine's Mister Fahrenheit
It's for the best to just keep offscreen characters that way.
You used to hear Monstroso mentioned in every other episode, and when he actually showed up he wasn't that special.
Especially after he was the 'rightful' leader of the guild and gave it to Bowie, it seems pretty obvious when you see it all at once
Either Fahrenheit or Scare Bear though I don’t think the latter can be considered a background character at this point
squid ink woman
always wanted to see more of her she seems interesting
reminds me of ursula but less fat dude in drag
That's Mister Fahrenheit, the Supersonic Man to you.
BRICK FROG
That's Auntie Matter, the shapeshifting spinster. God, I love the names of these people.
Auntie Matter I think.
i wasnt even aware she had a fucking name is this the bell scene the only times she showed because its all i can recall?
thanks for then name lads
>God, I love the names of these people.
And they always introduce them in groups, so you have 2 seconds to get the joke before they show the next one.
I bought it digitally so I got it as each episode came out on Amazon
I also bought the book
I don't have a bluray player. I'll watch it on Hulu.
>Hank is going to be Brock-lite by the time this is over
Yeah, probably, but not straight out of coma-town. He's regressed into The Bat. This is his one step back and his season 8 development will be his two steps forward into becoming a man.
they had great chemistry
but this show just resolved the overall plot of the background
it can keep going if they have a great story about the brothers vs each other next.
I think regress isn't the right word.
Like Early season Hank, the Bat was a childish delusionbut by Season 5 the Bat is a fucking monster.
The issue might be that Hank himself isn't going to be confronting his issues but that doesn't mean the Bat can't get a lot of legwork done while Hank is checked out.
It’s weird. Right before that episode came out, I was thinking how cool it would be if Freddie Mercury was in the Guild (and maybe faked his death and went uncover like Buddy Holly/Red Mantle). And this happened.
As someone who finds Blurays to be a scam to make you rebuy shit you already bought on VHS/DVD, does the bluray of S7 have any sort of extras designed to FORCE you to buy it over just buying the regular DVD?
>As someone who finds Blurays to be a scam to make you rebuy shit you already bought on VHS/DVD
If you can still watch a DVD on a modern television and think it looks fine, I think you should have your vision checked.
>I can't tell the difference between 480p and 1080p
user, I have some bad news for you.
>Mr. Fahrenheit the Supersonic Man dies in the Movie Night Massacre in 1987
>Freddie Mercury dies in 1991
But which is the imposter?!
This is the only series I actually buy the blu-rays for. 100% worth it too
>Freddie is a supervillain by day and a rockstar by night
>suddenly dies
>Queen panics, they manage to find an imposter but realize this scam isn't going to last long, so they say he's been diagnosed with AIDS
>Freddie imposter dies in 1991, the public remains oblivious that the real Freddie died in 1987
Not that it matters, since Jackson and Doc have said they're moving away from the idea that the celebrity-based supervillains are the actual celebrities themselves, hence why Sovereign turned out to not be the actual David Bowie
Sovereign turned out to not be Bowie because Bowie refused to voice the character
I guess. Sometimes I wonder if this show is better to watch from start to finish. But I guess that’s only possible when the show finally ends and lord knows when that’s gonna be.
Still think the newer seasons are way too short. It’s not like I blame Doc and Jackson but what coked out executive at Adult Swim thinks that’s a good idea?
He's no more Freddie than Dr. Mrs is Jackie O. Don't think too much of it.
I prefer to think of it as common villains finding they look like a famous person and copying them. who'd believe that they were robbed by Freddy Mercury?
>since Jackson and Doc have said they're moving away from the idea that the celebrity-based supervillains are the actual celebrities themselves
Well, I don't have to accept that. I can believe whatever I want.
>I think regress isn't the right word.
No, I'm using it most appropriately.
>Like Early season Hank, the Bat was a childish delusion
This is what he has regressed to.
>Season 5 the Bat is a fucking monster
Only whilst fueled by raw coffee beans.
>The issue might be that Hank himself isn't going to be confronting his issues but that doesn't mean the Bat can't get a lot of legwork done while Hank is checked out.
He will confront his issues. The Bat is the personification of his most basest child/immature-fueled issues that he needs to grow out of. Hence "regression".
To put it in more Batman-esque terms, "the night is darkest just before the dawn". The Bat is the darkest part of his "night". The "dawn" will be his realization into maturity.
>dawn
We're finally going to meet his long lost sister!
If they ever do make Dawn into a real character, it wouldn't surprise me at this point.
I thought he just never even bothered to respond or something
Yeah, he never responded. That was years ago though, they wanted him to voice himself in his first appearance. They didn't hear back, so they just got Urbaniak to do an impression. That went on for a few seasons. In the art book that came out last year they mentioned that they decided to retcon Sovereign to just be a Bowie imposter because they felt they were getting into too much of a legal gray area by saying "X character based on Y celebrity is literally that person" so they decided Sovereign is just pretending to be Bowie.
I could see a cute little joke where their half sister is coincidentally named Dawn and Hank gushes about wanting to have met her for years.
Not pointless just yet, but you're right in that it really came out of nowhere. We went from them in the same class to fucking each other and Dean says he doesn't even like her.
afaik VB has no difficulty staying greenlit. If it did it would have been cancelled long ago. The writers are just fucking slow.
