Is ms marvel (kamala khan) going to be in the Captain Marvel sequel?
Xavier Martin
Jordan Taylor
Rumors say Disney+ show debut (still live action). I think they want to introduce her for sure (I know Feige does), but still haven't figured out how.
Angel Ramirez
Introduce her in the next spiderman movie and then make them partners
Justin Gomez
I honestly would like that idea very much, it'd be nice to have Peter building up a team of new teen/young heroes in his own movies instead of focusing exclusively on his villains, Marvel Team-Up style.
Also kinda like this. Not necessarily Champions (not sure how that would work w/o Nova o Miles) but working towards their own hero team.
Xavier Johnson
Thought from OP thumbnail that the bubblegum bubble was supposed to be a robot eye from some new annual Secret Subversion Event.
If you're like me and wandering in from /gfg/ have fun not unseeing Kamala Dinergate.
Tyler Sullivan
Yes. They've mentioned it already
Josiah Gray
Jack Walker
Thomas Evans
Peter having his own little team would be fun
Blake Hall
It would be ideal, specially since none of the other heroes are around his age range. He definitely sticks out.
Justin Reyes
I'd love to see her get own show/movie but i feel like there going to make her supporting character in carol's sequel.
Isaiah Reed
Hey guys I'm making a new superhero. But I'm super into identity politics because my friends are into it. So it has to be a girl and it has to be ethnic. Since I'm a Muslim I'll make her a Muslim. I dont really care what her superpowers are. I'll just pick one at random: stretchy powers. But that fantastic four dude already has those powers so how do I make her unique? Whatever I'll just constantly show her with comically large hands on ever book cover and guest appearance. Did I mention she's Muslim? I'll just say it every chance I get. Also she's technically Asian too so I'll put her on Asian-only teams because I'm not a racist.
Now gimme money, libcucks.
Alexander Baker
Man, shut up. Kamala is good and popular, deal with it.
Joshua Phillips
Will Moonstone show up in the Captain Marvel sequel?
Will Captain Marvels villain be as strong as Captain Marvel or would they be extremely under-powered?
Carter Hall
I want Peter to come swinging by her room (actually just dangling from the roof b/c not Manhattan) and commenting on her having a lot of Captain Marvel and Avengers merch, causing her to giant fist his ass into a wall because he startled her.
Oliver Davis
Zachary Moore
Jace Ward
Depends on whether they learn anything from having the non-lickspittle critics pan their movie for being unengaging due to the massive lack of challenge, the weird aloofness of the protagonist and general lack of effort.
A sequel needs either a problem she cannot punch into submission, frustrating her limitless strength. Or it needs a villain that actually challenges her. Ideally both.
If you make Carol into a simple brute complacent in her power (which would at least allow Brie to act out SOME emotion for once), then she will need a charismatic adversary who teases her into being better than she is.
If you make her a righteous hero, she will need a villain to challenge her morality as a twisted mirror image.
In any case Moonstone is a pretty good choice. Being smarter than Carol is probably a good point to start villain shopping. Being vindictive and jealous makes it personal. Also please no man who tells her to smile or some shit.
That just doesn't work for a planet wrecking hero. She doesn’t work fucking retail!
It's also the lowest of the bad feminist points to make.
Catty retorts and pet-peeves just do not amount to being a galactic superhero.
Imagine anyone had suggested BP to cruise completely on racism of low expectations and made T'Challa so small a man as to get insecure about European colonisation of African countries his people never gave a fuck about, either.
The allure of Wakanda is that it's confident in its own capabilities and proud of its heritage. Talking back to the USA and being unafraid is statement enough.
Carol can certainly explore some stuff thematically, but rolling her eyes at men and scoring points for "Yas Queen Slaaay!" really should be beneath anyone who holds photon blasts and breathes hard vacuum.
Dylan Sanchez
Shapeshifting, not just stretchy powers. Too bad the writers refuse to actually use them cleverly.
Joseph Martinez
So much possibilities with powers like that
Ryder Perry
Kayden Rogers
Spiderman and his Amazing Friends: MCU edition featuring Iceman, Firestar and Ms. Marvel?
Eli Rivera
Embiggen DAT ASS!
Jose Clark
I pictured this in my head and I'd fucking love that. Feige, if you're reading this, put this on the script.
Joseph Gonzalez
William Nguyen
>Kamala ends up being Peter's main MCU love interest in the long run.
Jonathan Perry
I think Spider-Woman and Kamala are the only ones who could make a Captain Marvel sequel tolerable
Noah Bailey
Jesus what's wrong with Spidey's pointing arm, is this amateur hour?
Blake Jenkins
Xavier Jones
I prefer this Peter
Gabriel Cook
yeah, me too but he is just NOT to kamala
Hudson Nelson
Blake Gonzalez
Fucking kek
attacked by my own creation
Jaxson Peterson
MCU already stole Miles' best friend to be "Ned". Why do they need to steal his OTP also?
Jack Butler
>whats your superpower
>has a giant hand
Basically "Stretch" powers are unfilmable in live action with anything close to photorealistic CGI. Its basically body horror
Carson Gray
because more people see the mcu before itsv
and because disney needs people to want to see Carol
and because there's going to be a group of young avengers I think
but the most important
because kamala needs to be in one of the most viewed franchises in the world, she is so cute to not be shared
Tyler Phillips
That's why she only works in an animated format.
Caleb Reed
Ayden Johnson
I wonder if you could make her fully CGI but everyone else live action (sorta like Roger Rabbit)
but that would probably work better for someone like Plastic Man (who is always changing)
Brandon Morris
Young Avengers has Stature already ready to go, has Hawkingbird planned out through the Hawkeye series and could probably get Viv or Billy from the Wanda series. Hulkling is easily introduced after Captain Marvel. They can find a different character to use in place of Eli.
Why introduce Ms. Marvel as part of that? Why try to explain a legacy character based on her stanning the hell out of a hero nobody on Earth knows of? Why tie her to Spider-Man of all people?
Jack Thompson
>Why try to explain a legacy character based on her stanning the hell out of a hero nobody on Earth knows of?
dude, this is the mcu, if they want, they will put her
kamala has been a constant in terms of young heroes,it is very likely that she enters in the MCU
Evan Bell
what's so good about this character
Camden Gray
I think that's a trace from the cartoon, actually.
Also it's Kamala's arm.
She's in Peter's body.
Landon Mitchell
Mechanically interesting powerset, principled and enthusiastic with hobbies that invite unique character interactions.
Nolan Murphy
If her powers involve getting mass from her other selves from other dimensions, how is it that her clothes also get bigger?
Adrian Evans
Unstable molecules.
Hudson Reed
Explain Further.
