>Person has the power absorb energy and other super powers.
>Becomes a badguy instead of a hero that takes power away from the wicked
What are some 'evil' powers that can be used for good?
Person has the power absorb energy and other super powers
Would you really be a good guy if you looked like a living cancer tumor?
Like Metamorpho?
Tuns of heros look like abominations.
How long does he keep the powers?
Stealing/weakening powers alone might be enough for taking a stand agains vilains. "I'll keep you death touch, just so that you can't use it any longer...".
Brainwashing the evil mindbender to never abuse his powers again.
>ugly people baaad
Our visual society, ladies and gentlemen.
Shadow powers get a bad rep. They would be super usefull in certain situations.
Oh wow so I'm not the only one thinking this kind of thing.
Gore and blood themed powers? Usually cause its scary or grotesque which often associate with evil or bad guys...
I'd say Mind Control but that was already covered by weebshit.
The problem for Parasite in particular is that he literally feeds on the people he drains, inflicting both mental and physical pain. That's harsh to use for a good guy.
Its a great story technique that I feel gets under utilized.
The charecter who has a conventionally 'evil' power (Like mind controle) but uses it for good is very impactfull. As they can do evil but choose to do good
The opposite is also cool to see. A conventionally 'good' power (Like healing) used for evil can show how despicable a hero can be as they have the power to do good but choose not to.
Pretty much my thoughts. Its not the tool but the user as the old saying goes.
Anything harsher though? Biomanipulation is another I can think of.
Reminds me of that kid from marvel, Melter. Wanted to be a hero but his power was melting things, including people.
Useful for getting rid of debris, cleanup and toxic waste. Depending on what the stuff melts into.
I was thinking blood manipulation or changing pther peoples forms (like turning a super villan into a ant)
A charecters whos power is to spread hatered could be a good hero if they use it to disrupt evil organisations and criminal teams
Hero who Seduces all the villans
fucking hell why are Hero aca fans more creative than the hack
Are you stupid? Its just the bad guy if he hadn't been used as a pawn by the big villain to hurt his nemesis.
yeah user I know. I am saying that Tomura hasent tried infiltrating UA to sabotage it from the inside
You don't get to call anyone else a hack if that's your idea.
Eh, inflicting the pain isn't too different from when heroes beat up bad guys.
Especially if he drains power from bad guys right as they're in the middle of something really dastardly.
Batman frequently puts people in the hospital, there's many supposed heroes that maim their foes in comics.
I'd enjoy someone use Scarecrow type abilities on a subtle level, to sow mistrust & paranoia among the villains' teams. If you had it build up over time, it'd lead to some pretty spicy plots.
This would be a pretty great twist on the "love conquers all" trope. Especially if they're not just a sex magnet, they actually have to use a lot of skill to seduce people.
I call him Brightcock
Except it would inevitably backfire as villains would eventually become aware the hero only seduced them to get them out of villainy and their feelings aren't returned
Or maybe they are into it.
>to sow mistrust & paranoia among the villains' teams. If you had it build up over time, it'd lead to some pretty spicy plots.
That's how I'd want a Batman movie to be done. No Batman punching groups of gangsters and everyone knowing how he is, but taking out leaders in the shadows without leaving any evidence, which makes them think another gang was involved because they don't believe in the "Bat Man" urban legend started by the handful of people who have seen him.
I doubt it
Hence Shadowlass is a thing that exists.

>Ugly is evil
We live in a society is a meme
But it’s also true
That was the way things worked around the time he was made. Anyone with superpowers that looked like a stalwart square jawwed Adonis was a hero.
If they were freakish or just fat they were evil.
Fuck the X-Men.
The constantly whinge about how hard their lot is when all their important mutants are male and female models or cute fuzzy people/elves/etc, the actually deformed or freakish mutantw are basically the lesser subhuman people amongst them.
X-Men never really invited the ugly ones to join them. They had to go hang out with Magneto instead.
There are very few powers that mutants didn't had
>What is Rome?
lol what a plebian newfag
I find funny how a bunch of xfags are salty about Morrison introducing ugly mutants. Complaining the point of humanity hating them was jealously and not them being freaks, and that it undermined when the x-men get mad at people wanting a cure. As if Rogue and Scott don't already exist. Those are objectively handicapping power even if they don't look hideous.
It would be hard not to hate mutants when every other week one of them is on the verge of murdering every human on planet Earth.
That entire franchise is a broken metaphor.
Isn't Cyclops problem with his power due to brain damage he suffered?
But Rogue is totally someone who should have been allowed to make use of a treatment to disable her mutant ability.
Fuck you Storm, not every got to be a goddess whos ability they could actually control.
and Rogue's is because of deeply buried physical and mental trauma from being abused by her alcoholic redneck father.
Telepathic mutants are the ones who should be feared
Sure there are ones who basically do nothing but exploded but they can learn to control themselves if trained
A telepath learning to control their powers means they start racewars.
I could see that but you had beast and nightcrawler already too
All the telepathic mutants in Marvel are cunts.
