Eh, the first two episodes were ok but it's only 10 episodes and they are still introducing Swamp Thing and it looks like the whole season is going to be origin story focused which in my opinion is generally a lackluster story to watch. Plus there is no season two for all these origin stories to set up for.
Also writers/producers said no Parliament of Trees and no Arcane this season. Woody is still a human too. Bascially, so far the first fifth of the the show has just been so-so with not much on the horizon.
Unless episode 3 has some crazy left turns and plot advancement I think I am going to bow out of this one.

One day I just want to get thrown into a superhero movie with no origin story. Who's this? What do they do? Fuck you, watch and find out. We can sell you their motivations without fucking reliving them again and again.

Man I get why they are going the approach of focusing on the normal characters PoV and Swamp Thing as a rare occurrence. Especially since he is incredibly powerful and has potential to be scary/fight the scary.

The issue is there is only 10 episodes and one season. The show definitely is the best produced/written of comic book shows but that isn't saying too much.

Realistically, is there a chance of revival the show when WB launch it's streaming service? DC Universe will be absorbed in it, and the service has to have a steady flow of new content.

if they wanted to move the show to wb streaming service there was no need to cancel it.
