LOOK MOM I POSTED IT AGAIN
Allah literally translates as 'god'. Arab Christians use the same word.
>Context
Your OP has none. Try a casual application of context, so people can actually understand what your bitching about.
Allah was used in pre islamic arabia
The context is that Aladdin is a crap film outside of the Robin williams bits
When?
>An inaccuracy in a Disney adaptation.
Anything else you'd like to tell me, OP? Did the latest episode of Spongebob take place underwater?
Allah is just the Arabic name for God
The genie mentions Sunday Shalom, implying they follow an Abrahamic religion.
can't wait for another debate on this. to have a more interesting discussion, why is everyone in these 3 movie assholes?
>still bumping
how hard is it to sage, you degenerates
>why is everyone in these 3 movie assholes?
Because it's funny.
This is false btw and only Muslim apologists say this. But you’re even more retarded because Christianity is 500 years younger than Islam, not 1500.
15th century, nigga. 1000 years after the foundation of Islam.
>Christianity is 500 years younger than Islam
>But you’re even more retarded because Christianity is 500 years younger than Islam
Older, user. Mohammad was born in the 6th Century AD.
>References pop culture for the year of the film's release despite taking place before it
Holy shit, this is epic
PRINCE OP -FAGGOT IS HE- OP AL BABWA
Can somebody just post the Jack Chick Tract that has the answers to all of these questions?
You shut your whore mouth.
a part of me wants to agree with you, a part of me now hates you. damn my complicated feelings toward this movie
It ain't taking place in China, neither.
No its not, contrariant tart
this isn't false look it up on Wikipedia
Retard, it clearly takes place after the foundation of Islam, and definitely not in 1000 bc.
>This is false
No.
You are correct
So what word do Arabs use for “God” then?
It's "Sunday Salaam".
But they fly past Ancient Greece and a dude carving the Sphinx in the musical segment
>before
The Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria says "الكلبة ، ماذا؟"
I assume you're talking about that crossover in the Hercules TV series of dubious canonicity.
>youtube.com
They just fly past some Greek monuments, which are still there if you didn't know. As for the Sphinx, it was created long before ancient Greece was a thing. Maybe that dude was trying to restore the Sphinx or something.
No idiot, they meet hercules in an episode
This takes them in BC
>Arab Christians
Have been genocided nearly completely in the past 20 years.
I can't be the only one here who fully supports bombing Agrabah without mercy.
Allah is an Arabian pagan god though, retard
Allah was considered to be a deity, possibly a creator deity or a supreme deity in a polytheistic pantheon.[21] The word Allah (from the Arabic al-ilah meaning "the god")[22] may have been used as a title rather than a name.[23][24][25] The concept of Allah may have been vague in the Meccan religion.[26] According to Islamic sources, Meccans and their neighbors believed that the goddesses Al-lāt, Al-‘Uzzá, and Manāt were the daughters of Allah.[2][23][24][27]
Regional variants of the word Allah occur in both pagan and Christian pre-Islamic inscriptions.[28][29] References to Allah are found in the poetry of the pre-Islamic Arab poet Zuhayr bin Abi Sulma, who lived a generation before Muhammad, as well as pre-Islamic personal names.[30] Muhammad's father's name was ʿAbd-Allāh, meaning "the servant of Allah".
Coptic Christian here, we do say "Allah" and also "Al-Rub", or "Rub-ena" which translates to 'Our god'.
Well it doesn't help that our supposed fellow Christians in the West keep destabilizing our homes to the point where only terrorist groups can function.
>and also "Al-Rub", or "Rub-ena"
Is that in Arabic, or Coptic?
Arabic, Muslims use it too. Coptic is a dead language akin to Latin.
>the West keep destabilizing our homes
Arabs don't have a word for "our responsibility" it seems. It's always le ebil west. Even when you immigrate and leech the wellfare, you can't not see yourself as victims.
There's only so much we can do before you decide to remove a leader who was holding back terrorists. You can't tout yourself as a world power who proudly throws their weight around in the name of democracy and then balk when it goes wrong. The Iraq war was a mistake and you're still in Afghanistan after 15 years.
Not to mention everything you do is either in Saudi Arabia or Israel's interests, not the rest of us.
LOOK ANONS I RETARDED
Firstly, what are you using to date the movie?
Second, as others have noted Allah just means 'God' in Arabic and is used by Arab Christians as well as by the pre-islamic pagan tribes. The confusion seems to come from Jews who have a similar words as one of the 'Names of God' (both are believed to be derived from the Greek word 'Elohim'.
What part are you saying is false? It's true, for example, that some Christian sects use Aramaic, Syriac, Ge'ez, or Coptic as liturgical languages and thus wouldn't use 'Allah' in religious rites, they commonly do so in their vernacular language.
In any case, every religion goes through multiple iterations through its history, so there are certainly multiple dates you might reasonably consider the 'beginning' of Christianity, I'm struggling to figure just what dates you are using. Care to enlighten us?
About 90% sure the TV programs aren't canon to the movies - assuming time-travel magic wasn't employed.
Aladdin is a secret dystopian nightmare. The genie has been imprisoned in his lamp for thousands of years and speaks almost exclusively in outdated pop culture references that he could never have known if this story took place in the past. This movie takes place thousands of years in the future when the shit-skins have finally taken over the entire world.
They're canon
Some of the tv characters even appear at aladdin's wedding in the third film
