Millennials (born before 97) weren't huge fans of Ben 10 and thought it led to the downslide of CN because of how overhyped it was, and also because Original Teen titans got cancelled for Ben 10 which made them mad.
Zoomers (born after 97) however remember Ben 10 more fondly as part of their childhood, and thought it was a cool and awesome adventure and one of CN's most iconic shows.
Millenial here, can confirm Was never a fan of ben10, but i much prefer this over what we have now
Robert Jones
wow what a great observation OP im so glad you made a thread to share this with us, i feel so enlightened holy shit
Henry Bell
dwayne mcduffie ruined this franchise
Christian Russell
Besides the reboot and death battle there's nothing new to bring up about this show, deal with it and give it a rest already.
Landon Nelson
I'm a millenial but I like OS. Everything else felt like garbage.
Samuel Foster
>implying OS wasn't garbage Welp
Isaac Foster
>board homogenization isn't a problem
Cooper Robinson
They just want more Gwen porn
Matthew Wright
you won't find it in co though
Isaiah Hall
maybe but i was born in 1988 and i liked it
Kevin Clark
I didn't imply. I outright stated that it isn't.
Oliver Diaz
I was born exactly during 97, do I get a cool nickname? I mean besides fag
I had no idea it was taking the place of TT when it came out, but I can see how it might have poisoned my view of the show early on.
Christian Perry
Original series was great. Omniverse was the best series by far IMO.
Zachary Rivera
94 here, it’s my favorite thing to come out of Cartoon Network. I liked all four original shows a lot even though they all had their own specific flaws. The Reboot started out bad and from what I’ve seen it’s just eh now.
There’s an alleged Netflix adaptation and a Kevin 11 spinoff. Live action Ben 10 has never been worthwhile but I’ll watch it if they actually make it and one would hope that the Kevin 11 spinoff goes back to the original continuity. I kind of preferred when casuals didn’t know X existed because it’s led to some horrible misrepresentation, but I’m hoping there’s a “spinoff” because CN noticed the buzz the old series still generates(keep in mind what MOA said awhile back in their Celestialsapien Q&A). If it’s Reboot Kevin with his knockoff Omnitrix it’ll just seem redundant.
Jordan Jones
For you obviously.

It wasn't actually confirmed it replaced Teen titans, but it was speculated. Teen titans was announced to be cancelled in November 2005, Ben 10 premiered a month later in December 2005, and had seemingly the same animation team (or at least the same style).
TT fans were upset because CN left their show on a cliffhanger, and pawned the animators off to some other show about a kid with a magic bracelet and a bitchy cousin.

Can't disagree with that assessment. I always thought it seemed lame as fuck, to be honest. I should have been a little old for Teen Titans too, but I liked that. Just not as much as BTAS/STAS/JL.
Evan Thomas
I kinda appreciate the boomzoom meme because it helped find a catchy name for Gen Z. Before the zoomer meme came along, people were still saying "gen z" which felt clunky and didn't roll off the tongue well.

I was born before 97 and I like the original series. Where do I fit in?
Isaiah Flores
>le late 90s zoomer You do realise these people watched the same shows you did in addition to shows like Ben 10? Why not just say born after 1999 since those people only ever saw Ben 10 and not the early 2000s shows
Connor Fisher
90fag here, 95 and 96 niggers arent millenials, even 94 is stretching it
The first season of Ben 10 was fine, half way decent. As soon as the art style changed it went full retard.
Eli Watson
its sort of grown on me too. although i'm not entirely sure what the cut off date is for zoomers
Jeremiah Rodriguez
I'm a millennial and I liked Ben 10. By this point I was a young adult and watching cartoons didn't seem as strange anymore. I watched it with my friends. I liked the road trip theme and the ongoing story. To me it's one of the best action cartoons ever made.
Isaiah Robinson
The whole thing is arbitrary anyways. I'm on the edge of the cutoff and have way more in common with an old gen z than an old millennial. As for the official cutoff, it's ~95.
Samuel Davis
Born 99. This show was my favorite cartoon when I was young. It still is one of the best cartoons I've watched
Elijah Rodriguez
>Original Teen titans got cancelled for Ben 10 This is a lie.
Luke Butler
Y'all know TT was expanded for a season longer than the crew wanted, right? They wanted the Raven arc to end the show. Things Change isn't a cliffhanger made with the assumption of a new season, it was a deliberately ambiguous ending because not everything in life ends happy fucking sunshine and rainbows you absolute fucktards.
Teen Titans tried to make a mature ending and it only exposed how immature its audience was and still is.
Eli Robinson
Around a decade ago I stayed at the nickelodeon hotel for a few days when I was a kid. I asked maybe two kids there if they watch Ben 10, they said no, and I think one of them gave me a dirty look as they said it.
Lucas Gray
'85, thought Ben 10 looked lame and dull when it came out. It was one of those things that seemed to immediately become popular (like AtLA) but for all the hype looked like a patently mediocre action cartoon. Like a hyped up self-inserty Mighty Max.
I'd say I was just too old, but there were still other action cartoons I could enjoy even then. As far as Teen Titans, it was okay. Some episodes I saw were really good, others not so much.
This seems to be the direction Teen Titans GO is heading.
Gavin Ortiz
98 here. Boomzoom meme shit aside I can confirm I was a huge benfag and only got bigger as the show went on up until OV then I settled down but was still a fan. I would still argue that its one of the best CN cartoons or even just one of the best shows of its time. Either way whats the point you're making? Also sauce on the TT thing or admit that you're spouting bullshit like usual.
Jace Powell
>be me >born in 1997 >according to his logic I am neither boomer nor zoomer What am I lads?
