i brush twice a day, but floss after every meal. It's great, I recommend everyone to do it. I don't even get sores if I accidentally bite my lips; no rotting meat between teeth means no infection, no sores.

But my gums only bleed WHEN I go to the dentist for a check up. It's like your gums aren't used to having sharp metal objects harshly scraped against them or something. It's a good thing that comes up in nature so often.

How long are you brushing for? Everyone says two minutes but try timing yourself, because two minutes is probably longer than you think. Also electric > manual.
