I like the idea of kaiju battles, but its boring to watch men in rubber suits stomp around clumsily.
What are some animated Kaiju films/shows or comics?
Ive already seen the Godzilla animated series.

I'm good with pacific rim robots vs kaiju films too.

There was that early 2000s Godzilla cartoon based on the terrible 98 movie. The source material is terrible, but the show itself is pretty fun and had some great monster fights. The Emmerich movie was almost worth it because of that cartoon.
I tried watching that first video, and it's clear whoever made that makes a super common mistake most people who create giant monster fights make, none of the monsters have any weight to them. With monsters that size, every movement and motion should look slow and lumbering despite how fast they're actually moving.
Why is Netflix Godzilla so bad?
>but its boring to watch men in rubber suits stomp around clumsily.
Starship Troopers Chronicles occasionally has some big bugs, but almost all the action sequences are great
Symbionic titan has pretty good kaiju vs big robot fights.
>Symbionic titan
My brother said it was pretty bad so I didn't watch it.
>I like the idea of kaiju battles, but its boring to watch men in rubber suits stomp around clumsily
Just stick with the NuZilla films that are bombing at the box office
I really like the Monsterverse Godzilla films and Kong. Really hyped for the next Kong v Godzilla.

Why do you hate fun?

that first guy is fucking gold
Your brother is a tasteless faggot.
>This place...seems awfully familiar...eeoonk
You should kill your brother.
no bully Kamata-Kun
it tried to be deep and thought provoking but did to much while doing nothing
It's so FUCKING BORING
>Pacific Rim
>Kong Skull Island
>Godzilla 2014
>Shin Godzilla
>King of the Monsters
Okay WTF we've got all these movies out reviving some interest in kaiju stuff. Why the hell is no one in comics taking advantage of this? All I can think of in recent years are Kaijumax, Godzilla comics and some of those Kong comics after Skull Island. Looking around on kickstarter or indiegogo and it's really bare.
Kaiju stuff is so open to almost anything, why the hell is no one else taking advantage of it.
>I like the idea of kaiju battles, but its boring to watch men in rubber suits stomp around clumsily.
Imagine being this much of a pleb
FWIW Legendary did tie in comics for the Monsterverse and Pacific Rim.
Pak did Mech Cadet Yu and Marvel did Monsters Unleashed.
Pleb and proud
Can't wait Mothra to become KONG'D next movie
Yeah, I get that. Wished they adapted the Novel instead.
>boring to watch men in rubber suits
Then watch women in tight rubber suits in kaiju battles: Mighty Lady.
>Known and Obscure kaijus alike fighting each other
>even Gabara is in it even though he's there for a quick laugh
And none of that is referenced besides the fact Godzilla went apeshit and destroyed everything
The Novel is way cooler then what we got
I've been on here for over a decade and I still think this looks creepy.
Lefty, you autistic faggot, put that thing back where you found it.
KotM really felt like one of the old Japanese movies. Rodan emerging from the volcano was so old school.
YOU SHUT YOUR FILTHY WHORE MOUTH! Mothra is pure and faithful to Godzilla
I have a similar problem with mecha. I like the idea of giant robots battling each other, but it seems like every mecha show is like 25% robot fights at best, and the rest is filled with a crappy drama and pointless bullshit.
RIP, I know you're chilling up there with 2pack and Biggie in black people heaven, amen.
The whole appeal of the genre was built on men in rubber suits.
Since no one else is mentioning comics:
Gorgo (Charleton)
Konga (Charleton)
Reptilicus/Reptisaurus (Charlton)
Godzilla (Marvel)
Shogun Warriors (Marvel) -mecha but half the enemies they fight are kaiju.
Project Nemesis (American Gothic Press)
>that faggot that doesn’t know what bombing means
