There are people who unironically believe Anakin and Ahsoka couldn't have worked because of the age difference

>there are people who unironically believe Anakin and Ahsoka couldn't have worked because of the age difference
she was 17 and he was 22 at the end of the clone wars, geez

People are so afraid of being called pedos that they preemptively call everything pedoshit.

but this is complete bullshit, a 17yo girl with an older guy is totally normal (ok if he is 48 then there might be something wrong)
hell, when my maternal grandparents wed my grandma was 18 and grandpa was 23
also when my dad went to school at the age of 7 his mother (my grandma) was the oldest mom because she gave birth at the age of 23 while every other moms gave birth when they were 19-20 (meaning they got married when they were 17-18)

I love orange alien girls

One day you'll realize older generations are all pedos and married young because there was no such thing as the internet

Why the fuck were the Jedi sending in child soldiers ?

their cause was righteous.

Because Anakin was only into older women.

this is some truly low-level bait

>child soldiers
its not like they killed anyone

>muh child soldiers
They're acolytes of warrior order with space magic powers. They're better equipped to fight than most adults in the galaxy

It was creepy when she was 14 but yeah at the end it's pretty normal. Though people might have issue with him being her "master". Like how certain Romeo and Juliet laws make it illegal to fuck someone under 18 if you have a mentorship role over them.

Oneitis you dumb fierfek

t. boomer

If you can spend three years with somebody and still want to fuck them at the end then your relationship is already healthier than every one night stand ever.

boomer be gone

17 is legal in 88% of the world.
You retards.

15 is legal in about 50% of the world it doesn't make it right. Fucking eurocuck

If twitter taught me anything its that americans consider such an age difference unthinkable and invariably means the guy is taking advantage of the girl and basically a creep.

Just a case of leftover puritanism I guess.

You realize in the US alot of states have consent at 13 & 16 right? Oh wait, you're a mouth breather you didn't know.

PADME WAS 13 WHEN ANAKIN WAS 9

>It was creepy when she was 14
keep in mind that Anakin was 19 at the time and the battle where Ahsoka shows up for the first time is only three months after the battle of Geonosis, so basically that's the same Anakin from Episode II, who acted like a premature teenager

let me guess, you think a 19yo guy fucking a 17yo girl makes him a pedo

I don't think that, it is the absolute truth.

Not as weird when the female is older.

ok maybe I didn't put it into words right - at the time I don't think Anakin would've wanted to smash Ahsoka and years later when he would've wanted to it would've been normal
so yeah if he wanted to smash her it would've been creepy but it is unlikely

I know this is bait, but the sad thing is there are people in the world who unironically think this.

yes, degenerate Americans who see the boogeyman in literally everything

Thats dumb. It wouldnt work because he’s destined to force choke out the love of his life while shes pregnant.

I mean, Ani clearly isn't concerned with age differences. He was like nine and Padme was fourteen or fifteen when they met, right?

yes

He is destine to force choke padme. He could have another true love.

>He could have another true love
which is actually why Ahsoka and Anakin makes more sense, they had way better chemistry
did Anakin and Padme have chemistry at all? I mean Padme was just the pretty girl he met when he was a kid and that's all, also in Episode II Padme is like "I think I love you but we can't be together because muh diplomat career and muh jedi order" jeez he can leave the order whenever he wants

it doesn't work because a huge chunk of Anakin's character is being a oneitis fag for Panda Bear

The absolute lack of any chemistry between Anakin and Padme is one of the chief reasons the prequels are garbage. I understand what George Lucas was going for (they're both stunted emotionally because they both had to assume responsibility young, I mean that should be a pretty well fleshed out foundation for a relationship) but the execution was absolute dogshit.

>because they both had to assume responsibility young
I may be wrong but what responsibilities did Anakin have? there wasn't a galactic civil war when was a padawan and what I recall from the books it was Obi-Wan all the time who did diplomacy when they had to solve a conflict in some outer world

Nice trips.

He was an apprentice warrior monk of an order that wants you to be emotionally stunted.

Padme was made queen at a stupid young age. Anakin left his mother behind when some cheddar monks won him in a race. They’re both pulled in to a life of heavy scheduling and education to prepare them for their respective roles in galactic politics.

What WOULD have made sense was for the both of them to basically end up marooned-in-hiding and hooking up because they understand each other and that their being together is forbidden, but being able to get away with the now because obi-wan has fucked off and Padme didn’t bring her staff in to hiding.

Instead we got Anakin being a creeper and Padme being a plot device.

Based and redpilled
Yeah I know but still he had way less responsibilities than Padmé who had to rule an entire planet at the age of 13 or Ahsoka who had to lead clone troopers in a war

sauce of that butt

Padme was a figure head. She served as the central face of the government of Naboo, but you don’t become monarch at that age without having everyone else calling the shots as your regent or equivalent.

she was also an elected queen, not one hailing from some royal family, she was like a president or governor, wasn't she?

I don't know if I'm remembering right or if that lore still applies but didn't Naboo also have a whole nobility?

all I remember is that when her tenure ended she became a senator only because the new queen asked her
also there were deleted scenes where they visit her family and her father is a merchant or something, the actually looked like an average middle-class family

This.

Nice

14 actually.

>Ahsoka was probably closer to Anakin in age than Padmé

Maybe Anakin liked them older

Padme basically "groomed" him.

Why was Anakin given a padawan despite never becoming a master? Was Ahsoka so useless they decided she was disposable if he fucked her training up?

You need to be at least a knight to have a padawan. Did you forget Obi-Wan was just barely knighted when he took Anakin as his padawan?

They needed bodies to throw at the Droid army. They were willing to accept subpar jedi

you don't have to be a master to have a padawan. actually, the master rank was given to knights who successfully trained at least one, but preferably two or more padawans and they become knights
but there was some rule if a youngling doesn't find a master and doesn't become a padawan before the age 14 (or 15 Idk) then they had to leave the temple and work as farmers or some shit for the republic
the rest is up on wookieepedia

It wouldn't have worked because Anakin was MARRIED TO PADME YOU STUPID FUCK

>but the execution was absolute dogshit
this describes Star Wars as a series very well

Wait, so why did Anakin get butthurt that he wasn't made a master, then?

Because only Masters got access to the parts of the Jedi Archives that deal with Sith

because if a Jedi is elected into the Jedi Council he instantly becomes a master
but since it was Palpatine politicking that made him part of the Council, Windu didn't grant him the rank of master
and Anakin was in beef with Windu so he took it as an insult

No, Anakin was mad about not being a master before he was appointed, wasn't he?

I know, but he had never had a successful apprentice but he was still butthurt before even qualifying.

>because if a Jedi is elected into the Jedi Council he instantly becomes a master
I forgot that part that most jedi were already masters when they became members of the council (like Shaak Ti) but there were knights who become council members and that meant they are instantly recognized as masters (like Obi-Wan)

no, he was mad because he they didn't grant him the rank of master upon ascending to the council
but the focus was on that Windu basically said "we won't kick you out of this room but that doesn't mean we trust you"

From the Stover novelization, being a Master allowed him complete access to all the Jedi Holocrons and Anakin wanted more information about the dark side ability to keep people alive that Palpatine tells him during the theater scene (to save Padme). Mace basically ruins it for him and he thinks it's the Jedi Council playing politics with him (and Padme) caught in the middle of their games.

>I know, but he had never had a successful apprentice but he was still butthurt before even qualifying
you don't need to train padawans to become a member of the council
Jedi historians like Jocasta Nu usually didn't take padawans because they spend their time 0-24 24/7 in the library and archives
still, they can become jedi council members and that way masters

>From the Stover novelization
In the film it completey comes off that Anakin is mad that Windu still doesn't trust him

That's bullshit. There's not any reason to force choke Padme if he didn't love her.

if you only knew how bad things are.jpg
