Coco was way more shit than cars 3
Cars 3 should be 10 and coco should be 18

What's wrong with you?

21. Toy Story 4

Ratatouille and WALL-E are miles better than either of the Monsters movies, Toy Story movies, and Up.

Good list, but Monster's University does not need to be that high.

>Monsters University
>In the same zipcode as the top 10
>ABOVE Ratatouille

No, they aren't. I don't get why Ratatouille is the most enjoyed PIXAR Film here, it's not bad, it's really good but it's definitely not TOP 5 level good

A bug's life is the only Pixar movie I enjoy.

I've never seen "delight" better captured in a film. That movie just makes you happy to be alive.

You posted this thread thinking nobody would question your taste?

Ratatouille is hated/misunderstood by normalfags. A lot of them think it’s too boring.

Ratatouille is definitely not the most enjoyed Pixar movie on Yea Forums. On the contrary, whenever it’s brought up some anons sperg out about it being shit or at least overrated. It’s always been a weird thing, I think it’s one of the best Pixar movies. The most loved here is obviously The Incredibles.

Rude.

This song perfectly captures the feeling that movie is supposed to give you. People expected it to just be the funny talking rat movie but that's just a part of it. It's really so much more but it's all wrapped in this simple little package. I could honestly watch it every day for a year and fall in love with it more every time. youtube.com/watch?v=p_hdmt4vpBo

Mostly agree with this. Think you're overrating Toy Story, it's an indisputable classic, but it's not on the level of Wall-E, if only because by the time Wall-E was made Pixar had years to refine and polish their storytelling and animation skills. They peaked with Wall-E. Toy Story will forever be the iconic Pixar brand though.

Ratatouille is basically comfort food, it somehow gets better every time you watch it. Wall-E is the same way, but it's too powerfully emotional to be as comfy as Ratatouille.

I only like Toy Story. The Incredibles and Wall-E were alright too.

Everyone agreeing that the first Toy Story is the best one is making me feel so warm and proud.

Wall-E is my favorite western animated movie, so you could consider that in a tier of its own if you want. The first Toy Story I think holds up even if you ignore it’s legacy. Those characters are so well-written and the humor, emotions, and music are all great. It’s such a simple story about friendship, but it touches on profundity by having Andy act as a surrogate for any child. The fact almost every moment from that movie can be referenced in some shape or form on this site, let alone not the internet in general, is a testament to its power.

But yeah, I still think Wall-E’s the best.

Wow that's some garbage taste

Where will Toy Story 4 rank?
it’s gonna be near the bottom isn’t it

Alright, help me out Yea Forums, I've never really enjoyed Wall-E. First part is great, then they get on the ship and it feels like all the subtler storytelling gets lobbed out the window. What do you guys enjoy in the movie?

Make it 10: Monsters University 9: a bug's life 8: Ratatouille and it'd be right.

I like the first ~30 minutes enough to get me through the rest of it. It's not even like I think it's particularly bad; it's an above average soft sci-fi flick whenever it isn't just robots on screen. It's just such an extreme difference in quality and almost genre it's unfair to compare them.

Probably

You weren't in the storytime threads for the picture book were you?
Short answer: yes.

Visuals, soundtrack, and overall atmosphere. The romance aspect blossoms even with all the human stuff happening, think the define dancing moment. Robots giving people back their “humanity” is an interesting theme I think. I totally get the common criticisms, I just think the world and ideas are so interesting. A deleted scene basically confirms the people on Earth who couldn’t make it on the space liners went savage and killed each other while starving/suffocating from the air. I think it works better keeping that stuff ambiguous, but I like piecing the dots of what led to humanity being in such a pathetic state.

I was there. What a joke.
