Logan is better than all of Sam Raimi's Spider-Man Films. Prove Me wrong

Did you actually see the movie? Well over half the plot points, characters, and scenes would need to be changed if you got rid of the superhero aspect.

No, not really. Charles? Just make him a member of some super-secret agency that is now senile and keeps talking about super-secret shit to strangers and needs to be kept under lock and key. The kids? Just have them be dangerous child soldiers trained to murder from birth. That's about it. It would take minimal editing. Super powers play a background supportive role in this movie and can be easily replaced.

The Wolverine is the only good X-man movie. You cannot prove this wrong.

The Raimi films are good because they were made after people realized that Superheroes shouldn't look like shit, but before they streamlined everything. Green Goblin moves like a guy wearing a suit because he is.

Except removing x-23 and Wolverine's other clone changes the meaning of both of those scenes (Unless your argument is no superheros or powers, but clones are totally okay for some reason?) Changing the kids into child soldiers completely removes the last third of the movie since why the fuck do they need to flee to another country and hide instead of coming clean and getting the program shut down? And you're completely ignoring the several scenes where powers do come into use, like Xavier's psychic scream or all the times Wolverine needs to use his healing. Yeah, removing an entire scene and re-editing to show Charles blabbing secrets keeps the movie's tone and meaning the exact same!

And while we're on that subject - tell me what secrets Charles could have that would put him in the same situation of the audience being both sympathetic to him and understanding why he needs to be killed instead of just hidden away somewhere? Making him senile with state secrets makes him an entirely sympathetic character instead of ones with shades of gray - which is a huge message of the movie.

With the amount of changes you're already suggesting, apparently Iron Man and Batman aren't superhero movies either since you can just give a guy a bulletproof vest and he can do all the shit either one of them does in their movies. At least the first modern one for each of them.

X-men as portrayed in logan barely fits the "superhero" genre and is already delving pretty heavily into scifi. if you scrub the names and accompanying concepts you can easily create just another great sci-fi film instead of a mind-blowing x-men film.

First of all, I didn't say that superpowers NEED to be removed, I said they COULD be removed without changing anything essential in the movie. Charles would still need to be taken to a private secluded place like a boat at sea unless he wanted to keep him locked-up forever. Logan's healing isn't essential, what is essential is him slowly being in worse and worse of a shape as the movie progresses. His clone could be for example his brother he never saw before that was drafted for the same human-weapon program who just looks like him. All the times Xavier used his powers aren't really so special that they can't be replaced by something else that lead to the same conclusion of the scene. And as for having to run away, just have the government of that country be super-corrupt and the kids not being able to survive unless they fled it.

Logan is pretty overrated and people tend to overlook the corny"evil logan" villain and the final battle w/ all the cornball kids. Parts in between are fine, though.

Spiderman 1 and 2 are unbeatable, even Disney can't make something with that much heart.

you realize that was the point, it was to push Logan even further to the edge. And it was well done cause while she was annoying in those times, it was more annoying to Logan than to the audience and so when he flips out it makes the scene work
