The only thing that bothers me with bolters is how do they not run dry in 1 second with how quickly they fire and how HUEG their shells are.

Bolters typically have both a four-round burst and full-auto firing modes, IIRC. The Marines in the video wanted to overwhelm the psykers, so full-auto was ideal (up until the psykers stopped the bullets).

They might not be outright chaos worshipers (though I'd bet that vault thing the two were guarding has some daemonic shit inside), they might be chaos as fuck, it can vary

In a nutshell they're people the guy/crew designed to look cool as fuck and are best classified as "original" for the setting

I love the ending where the one Astartes is just spending a few seconds looking at the other as they sheathe their knives.

They nearly lost this fight. Literal knife edge. If they'd been a shade slower closing the distance, the psykers probably could have picked them off one by one. The only sign of that? Checking his brother for damage as he prepares to march to the next objective. And they're marching with the same unhurried stride as you saw on the ship before they launched.

The personality and mind of these guys is brought across so clearly in just each little gesture and action. They are calm, precise, unflinching, and absolutely committed, no matter what.

It's also really neat structurally. Because the first two episodes really brought across how monstrous the Astartes are if you have to face them. The troops they face are well organized, well equipped, disciplined, and doing as well as can be expected. The Astartes just slaughter them, barely breaking stride.

Having established the Astartes are these absolute combat monsters, it throws them up against an enemy that poses a real threat. "Yes, these Astartes are monsters, because they have to fight monsters." Heavily implying whatever is behind that bulkhead will be worse.

Reminds me of the training scene in Jin-Roh where the MC is lost in thought and a squad mate bumps his shoulder with a hand. They don't say anything but he looks back and you can just feel everyone's eyes are on him, waiting for him.
