"How about two guys, a girl and a THING THAT NO ONE WANTED?"

>"How about two guys, a girl and a THING THAT NO ONE WANTED?"

Whoa, where the fuck did that come from?

Fox’s attempt at quipping

Why was he black but his sister was white?

and then Ben just calls him a NG

Sue was adopted.

I mean calling Sue that was harsh but they're siblings so it's fine

I mean the actual answer was racism.

Can't have two black people in the fantastic four, and Sue couldn't be the token black because you can't have an interracial coupling.

This

Why is johnny storm black

Because Sue, Reed or the monster man can't be black.

None of them should be black

The real reason is Josh Trank wanted Michael B. Jordan in the movie.

Are they ever going to make a decent Fantastic Four live action movie? Is the MCU the key to their future? If so, they should make PeterxSue cannon.

There was a deleted scene in wich Ben called him the N word.

he did not master it at first and got burnt.

Fox execs liked cuckhold porn at the time.

>I am technically and literally not white anymore so I can do that, consider it my superpower
Oh Gee, Raimi!

>Yeah but at least I’m not a nigger

Hot take: This movie is still worse than Dark Phoenix.

Not much far off from how he was named in comic book canon, is it?

kek

"What are we like, four people who are FANTASTIC?"

Does Dark Phoenix have any magically vanishing tanks?

They will be treated well in the MCU. In fact, I'd argue they fit in way better/easier than X-Men ever could.

Peter and Johnny's interactions will be fun but I hope they don't age down Johnny. Keep him college aged and have him be like Peter's cool older brother.

Ben was never white, he's one of Them.

No. Just magically vanishing audiences.

Fire powers made him black and extra crispy

>Is the MCU the key to their future?
With Namor teased I don't see a good future for them

so... he is the 8/10ths human torch?

just call him ashy john.

It's 3/5ths
or 13/50ths
whichever's funnier

3/5ths, You are correct. Back history is not important enough for me to get it right.

why not just make her black too?

You'll end up with White Reed and Black Sue and that is a no go.

Just fuck history all up. Make them all black. Call them the 4 Tops. Who gives a shit. Let em fight Doctor Dre.

HEYOHH!

>"That's cute, Johnny. How about a guy, a girl, a rock monster, and a filthy subhuman porch monkey?"
Jesus, Trank. I don't know how you had so little power over the final cut, but managed to keep that in.

Here's a confirmed Trank shill on IMDb revealing he knows nothing about the source material.

He think they are married because they have the same surname, instead of them being siblings?

Or maybe just super into incest.

>I still miss that forum

>screencapping the IMDB forums

Why would you do that?

This was back in 2014 when IMDb was still active and there was lots of shit-flinging over Fant4stic from shills and contrarians, both on Yea Forums and on IMDb. There was this one user who kept screenshots of some memorable moments (including this hitfan guy here revealing himself to be a paid shill). I saved some of them when he did an image dump, but when my computer at that time got infected later, only a handful of screenshots that I'd saved on my e-mail survived, this sadly, was the only one of the FF debates.

Too bad, there was some hilarious shit in there, like a guy saying the FF have never had the popularity of Ant-Man or GOTG in the comics, a guy with a SpongeBob avatar talking about how childish the concept of the FF is, a guy saying that the series is irrelevant to the history of 616 Marvel, then there was this edgelord user named Tiffanythefrog/thedoncorleone who turned out to literally be an 11 year old. Tommy also popped up to bitch about Namor on there.

>seething

>Namor teased
When was this?

A throwaway line in Endgame about the under Atlantic plates shifting

I would have had more respect in the decision to mis-cast Johnny Storm if they made Susan black as well. This was just "I need a minority but I can't cast him as the leader or the dude that becomes an orange rock monster".

I agree. Making them adopted siblings came across 50% pandering and 50% Trank just wanting to get his friend in the film.
